A series of popular applications in Vietnam are optimized for iPhone Duo

(Dan Tri) - Many familiar applications in Vietnam are having their interfaces adjusted for iPhone Duo, to take advantage of the large screen and the ability to open two applications at the same time.
Apple has just announced a series of updated third-party applications to fit the iPhone Duo, its first foldable iPhone model.
Instead of just zooming in on the regular phone interface, some applications will change the content layout when users open the internal screen or fold the phone at different angles.

According to Apple and MacRumors, more than 50 applications have been or will be optimized for iPhone Duo. However, for Vietnamese users, the most notable applications are currently available on the domestic App Store such as Netflix, Zoom, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Instagram, Edits and Notewise.
Netflix is one of the entertainment applications mentioned by Apple.
Netflix is optimized to seamlessly transfer content from the external display to the large screen inside iPhone Duo (Video: Apple).
When using an external display, users can browse or start viewing content as on a regular iPhone. When you turn on the device, the video will switch to the larger internal screen.
The more notable point lies in the ability to run multiple content at the same time on a large screen.
Zoom is optimized to both display the content being shared and keep images of meeting participants on the same screen. This helps reduce the need to switch back and forth between interfaces during online meetings.

With Word, more screen space allows editing tools to be placed next to the document content. Outlook can divide the screen into two parts, one side shows the message list and the other side displays the open email content.
Instagram is also in the group of applications given by Apple as an example.
The interface on the internal screen can display more content than a regular iPhone, while Instagram's Edits video editing app takes advantage of the large area to place videos, timelines and editing tools on the same interface.

According to MacRumors, current iPhone applications can basically still run on the iPhone Duo even if not specifically optimized.
The difference lies in how they take advantage of the internal display, Split View mode, and the device's folded state. Apps that haven't been updated may just display the regular iPhone interface over a larger area.

Apple plans to use the "Made for iPhone Duo" label on the App Store to distinguish apps that have been adapted for the device.
For Vietnamese users, the visible changes are mainly in popular applications such as Netflix, Zoom, Word, Outlook and Instagram. The actual effectiveness of this optimization will only become clearer as the iPhone Duo is widely used and developers continue to update the application.
