The new iPad mini has an 8.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen, larger than the previous generation but still maintains a compact design thanks to the narrowed edges.
Apple also offers a nano-texture screen option on high-capacity versions to reduce reflections.
Using A20 Pro chip
The new iPad mini uses the A20 Pro chip, providing a significant upgrade compared to the previous generation.
According to Apple, the new CPU has up to 60% higher multi-threaded performance, while the GPU is up to 2.7 times faster. The ability to handle artificial intelligence tasks is greatly increased thanks to the Neural Accelerator built into each GPU core.
The device runs iPadOS 27, supporting Apple Intelligence and Siri AI.
