DIY: Make a desk lamp from a ventilation pipe.

I just finished making this lamp, intending to do it for fun in my free time, but I received compliments on how beautiful it was, so I bragged about it and the making process. Everyone is invited to watch!

Get the idea from some ventilation pipes, leftover from the company's fresh air system.

I cut it shorter and made a wooden support frame.

I cut the round hole to attach the light with a miter saw, drilled a 10mm hole and then chose a wood cutting blade with staggered teeth to make the curve smoother.

I drilled 2 holes in the base of the lamp to create an L shape to route the negative wire inside. I quite like this type of national switch. If people pay attention, the blue button is made of luminous plastic that can absorb light and then glow in the dark.

Making your own custom items is very relaxing. The process helps me practice my skills and concentration, through which I can also take advantage of the materials available around me. Hopefully the articles will inspire people to start implementing their ideas. Thank you everyone for watching!
