iPhone Duo competes with Galaxy Z Fold8: Which product wins?

(Dan Tri) - iPhone Duo is equipped with the most powerful configuration in the folding phone segment, but is that enough to help the product surpass Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold8 in the processing speed test?
iPhone Duo and Galaxy Z Fold8 are two of the most high-end folding screen smartphones on the market today, considered typical representatives of the iOS and Android platforms.
The reason why the iPhone Duo is compared to the Galaxy Z Fold8 is because both products have a "fat" screen design, with an outer screen with a square ratio, instead of a long bar like many other folding phone models such as the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Motorola Razr Fold or OPPO Find N6...
iPhone Duo is equipped with the A20 Pro chip similar to the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max duo. Apple confidently declares that this is the most powerful mobile chip on the market today, manufactured on a 2nm process, with 6 processing cores, including 2 super-high performance processing cores (clocked up to 4.93GHz) and 4 high-performance processing cores.
Meanwhile, Galaxy Z Fold8 is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, designed and optimized specifically for Samsung's product line. The chip is manufactured on a 3nm process, with 8 processing cores, reaching a maximum clock speed of 4.74GHz.

Will the A20 Pro chip help the iPhone Duo surpass the Galaxy Z Fold8 in the processing speed test? To find the answer, YouTube technology channel Techdroider conducted a test to compare the processing speed of these two products when running the same heavy tasks.
Initially, Techdroider compared the boot speed of the two products from power off to readiness for operation. The results show that both have almost completed the boot process at the same time.
Techdroider then gave the two devices access to three heavy games, including Mortal Kombat, Genshin Impact and PUBG, to test the processing speed. The results showed that iPhone Duo had faster access speed than its competitors in the two games Genshin Impact and PUBG.
However, when using two devices to output the same video on the LumaFusion video processing application, the Galaxy Z Fold8 won an overwhelming victory.
