'Torture' iPhone Duo tests durability

After reaching users from October 23, iPhone Duo has been tested by many technology channels for the scratch resistance of the body and screen, resistance to falling at different heights, and especially the durability of the hinge.

JerryRigEverything, a YouTube account with 10.2 million subscribers, tested Duo's durability through a series of "torture" exercises. First, with scratch resistance, the outer screen can withstand hard objects on the Mohs hardness scale of 8, but the inner screen is scratched at level 2, meaning it can be impacted by objects such as keys or coins.
In the dust and sand test, small particles entered the hinge, causing the machine to not close completely. The magnet's attraction is not enough to correct the situation. As you continue to bend, permanent blue stripes appear on the internal screen, then completely lose touch ability. In addition, when exposed to fire, the external screen has no problem, but the internal screen leaves permanent marks.

Duo continued to pass two PhoneBuff channel tests when opening the device and dropping the internal screen directly onto the surface. The screen is not cracked, the hinge still works. Raised edges and screen protectors can help limit damage.
However, when dropping the machine consecutively onto the hinge from a height of nearly 1.5 m, the device began to fail. After the first time, the hinge becomes stiff and the screen is no longer flat. The second drop caused the internal screen to have damaged streaks along the fold line, along with a touch error. By the fourth time, most of the left half of the screen stopped working, while the external screen was still usable.
