AI Awards 2026 searches for Vietnamese AI products, businesses and talents
Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Awards 2026 (AI Awards 2026) opens the portal to receive applications from July 15 to August 21. This year's awards are divided into three groups of categories.
The AI Products and Solutions group is for products, solutions, platforms or applications directly researched and developed by individuals, groups, businesses or organizations in Vietnam.
AI Vietnam Talent Group honors experts and engineers under 35 years old with outstanding achievements in AI research and development.
The AI Enterprise Group is for businesses developing AI technology, as well as units that effectively apply AI in production, business and management activities.
One of the highlights of the AI Awards is focusing on practical value. According to the organizers, entries will be evaluated based on the value and impact created. In the AI Products and Solutions category, the panel scores based on the level of creativity, implementation ability, applicability and socio-economic impact. Vietnamese AI talent is considered based on professional capacity, research achievements, product effectiveness, contribution to the AI community, as well as responsible AI development. Meanwhile, typical AI Enterprises are evaluated according to their technological capacity, application efficiency in production and business activities, development speed and contributions to Vietnam's AI ecosystem.
After receiving applications, nominations will go through a preliminary round before entering two voting rounds, combining the evaluation of the jury board and VnExpress readers.
In the final round, selected individuals or units will present and demonstrate their solutions to a panel of experts, and may be required to undergo practical experience for the scoring process.
In addition to the opportunity to be honored, individuals and businesses participating in the AI Awards also have the opportunity to promote products on media channels, connect experts, investors and the technology community, expanding opportunities for cooperation and development in Vietnam's AI ecosystem.
AI Awards is one of four main activities of Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival - AI4VN 2026, besides AI Summit, AI Workshop and AI Expo. Held annually since 2018 under the direction of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the event has become a forum gathering the research community, technology businesses, domestic and international managers and experts to promote the application of artificial intelligence in Vietnam. This year, the event has the theme "Agentic AI", scheduled to take place in early November in Hanoi.
