AI Real Battle 2026: Looking for data mastery talent

(Dan Tri) - The "Real Battle AI" 2026 competition has just been launched with the aim of discovering and training high-quality AI human resources, contributing to promoting the "Made in Vietnam" technology ecosystem.

On the afternoon of June 19, Vietnam Television (VTV), National Data Center (NDC), National Data Association (NDA) and Techcombank officially launched the "Real AI Battle" 2026 competition.

Following the success of the first season, this year's competition continues to be held in the form of a television game show, creating a real-life playground for the technology community across the country.

Competing teams will develop AI solutions to solve practical problems in fields such as education, culture, health, agriculture and smart cities.

According to the organizers, NDC will support data, experts and in-depth training programs for contestants, while NDA will participate in building an ecosystem to incubate and foster potential projects.

The prize structure includes the First Prize worth 1 billion VND and a scholarship or investment worth 1 million USD from the sponsor. There is also a Second prize worth 300 million VND, two Third prizes worth 150 million VND each and many other additional prizes.

Activities of "Real Battle AI" 2026

July 2026: Preliminary round - Kick-off.

August 2026: Final round - A.I skills

September-October 2026: Semi-finals - Practice.

November-December 2026: Final round.

January 2027: Gala night live announcement and Awards ceremony.

The programs will be broadcast from September 2026 - January 2027 on VTV2 channel and rebroadcast on Vietnam Television channels.

The Gala awards program is expected to be broadcast live on January 10, 2027 on channels VTV2 and VTV3.
