Actual photos and iPhone 18 Pro board diagram leaked
According to Reuters, the World Leaks hacker group has just released a series of documents marked "confidential" by Apple online after a cyber attack on the Tata factory (India) in June. The files contain a detailed list of component suppliers for iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max - something the company always strictly protects to avoid being copied or counterfeited.
The files reveal the motherboard diagram designed with specialized software Siemens NX, parameters of the A20 Pro processor chip (Borneo code) and C2 modem (Ganymede code).
In-depth analysis of the circuit diagram, experts discovered that the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will have major improvements in the cooling system. The CT scan image shows a large, ultra-thin metal vapor chamber placed close to the A20 Pro chip to optimize heat escape when the machine handles heavy tasks.
In addition, the arrangement structure of the Face ID facial recognition sensor cluster and front camera has also been reduced, indirectly confirming that Apple has succeeded in shrinking the size of the Dynamic Island defect compared to the iPhone 17 Pro.
Actual photos and videos recording the durability testing process when dropping the iPhone 18 Pro at the Tata factory in early 2026 were also spread on Twitter. The device appearing in the video is silver gray with a cluster of 3 rear cameras raised higher and a uniform colored glass back instead of the two-tone form as before.
However, the images were quickly removed from social networks on grounds of copyright infringement, and the posting accounts were also locked.
Analysts say that Apple's aggressive scanning of videos further shows the authenticity of the images. However, after watching the leaked video, many users on Reddit and Twitter expressed disappointment because the new device does not look too different from the iPhone 17 Pro. It's likely that Apple will save groundbreaking changes in appearance for the 20th anniversary iPhone model next year.
Previously, on June 22, Tata announced: "A few weeks ago, Tata Electronics discovered a cyber security incident on some of our systems. The response process was activated immediately. The incident did not affect business operations and all operations continued normally."
This serious security incident is expected to cause tension between Apple and Tata Electronics. Currently, Tata is Apple's leading strategic partner in its ambition to diversify the supply chain.
Tata said it had hired independent international experts to forensically audit the system and tighten internal access rights to remedy the consequences.
