App Fox Sport 1 (FS1)

Fox is the exclusive broadcaster of World Cup 2022 matches with English commentary for the US market. You can download it from the AppStore on Apple products. I use Apple TV so I downloaded Apple TV to watch on TV. FS1 is free for the first 50 minutes. Then it requires you to provide TV viewing service (TV Provider).

Sling TV TV viewing service

On content players (set top boxes), there are good apps for sports, but if you want to watch them, they force you to link to a TV provider. Sling TV is one of the TV Providers that the app lists. Sling TV costs 40 USD/month and if you buy this round, the first month will only cost 20 USD. Sling TV is the cheapest TV viewing service that can watch the 2022 World Cup in English.
