Three Chinese Pro Max phones are about to be sold in Vietnam

After the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max went on sale from September 18, the Vietnamese market in October and November is expected to welcome a series of high-end phones from Chinese companies with similar names. In particular, Vivo and Oppo used the name "Pro Max" for the first time for a high-end line besides the previous Pro version.
In addition to the above three brands, Honor also recently launched the Magic 9 Pro Max or Huawei with the Mate 90 Pro Max. However, these two models are unlikely to be officially sold in the domestic market.
Vivo X500 Pro Max
X500 Pro Max was introduced in Shanghai on September 21, along with X500 and X500 Pro. This is the most advanced version of the X500 series with a large screen and camera focusing on telephoto capabilities. Last year, Vivo only announced the X300, X300 Pro and X300 Ultra models.
The point the company focuses on the most on the Pro Max version is the camera. The main sensor has a resolution of 50 megapixels, uses a 1/1.28 inch Sony LYTIA 910 sensor, 24 mm focal length and f/1.57 aperture. Wide-angle camera with 15 mm focal length, 50 megapixel resolution.
According to Mr. Huang Tao, Vice President in charge of products, the company has been pursuing mobile photography technology for 10 years, including developing its own technology, in parallel with cooperation with Zeiss, focusing on telephoto, night photography, backlight, portraits and anti-shake.

The X500 Pro Max's telephoto camera uses Zeiss APO lenses, designed to limit chromatic aberrations, helping to preserve color and detail when shooting at a distance. The camera has 200 megapixel resolution, 1/1.4 inch sensor, 85 mm equivalent focal length and f/2.67 aperture.
In terms of configuration, X500 Pro Max is equipped with Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, 12 GB RAM, combined with three internal memory versions of 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. The device uses OriginOS 7, a domestic operating system developed by Vivo based on Android. The 7,800 mAh battery supports 90 W fast charging and 40 W wireless charging.
The product has a starting price of 6,999 yuan (27 million VND) in China. Vivo may bring the X500 and X500 Pro Max to Vietnam later this year, while the X500 Pro model is not officially distributed. The selling price in Vietnam has not been announced, because Vivo applies different pricing policies in each market.
Oppo Find X10 Pro Max

Find X10 Pro Max is Oppo's first Find series phone named with the suffix Pro Max. Similar to Vivo, last year the company had Find X9, X9 Pro and X9 Ultra but now changed the way the names are divided.
The latest high-end version also focuses on photography capabilities, but the camera cluster design attracts less attention like last year's Find X9 Ultra. The company arranged the new camera in a rounded square shape, finished with a monolithic cold engraving process, adding CNC gear ribs to create a rotating feeling like a Hasselblad camera. Comes with a pill-shaped LED flash strip placed on the right side.
All three cameras of the Find X10 Pro Max have a resolution of 200 megapixels. The lenses are optically calibrated from Hasselblad, second generation Danxia lenses and LUMO natural shading algorithm to maintain color fidelity.
The device has a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen, 1.5K+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, metal frame with rough woven pattern on the back. Domestic version configuration uses MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, 2 nm process, optional RAM 12-16 GB, maximum memory 1 TB.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Max

From 2025, Xiaomi attracted attention when it skipped the 16th generation series to launch Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max at the same time as iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. However, this year the company just brought the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max lines to the international market, including Vietnam. According to VnExpress sources, the device could be sold at the end of October or at the latest in the first half of November.
The highlight of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is the protruding rear camera cluster, quite similar to the iPhone 18 Pro Max but more unique with the secondary screen. The 1-120 Hz OLED display displays over 100 different widgets, dynamic notifications, and the ability to create AI wallpapers based on pets or personalized themes.
This is also the first model to launch with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor manufactured on Qualcomm's 2 nm process. The product also uses a silicon carbon battery with a capacity of 8,500 mAh, fast wired charging of 100 W, wireless charging of 50 W and reverse charging for other devices with a capacity of 27 W.
