The ASUS Pen 3.0 stylus is beautifully crafted, but unfortunately I rarely use it

The story is that I am using an ASUS Zenbook DUO 2026 laptop and the product comes with an ASUS Pen 3.0 stylus. What impresses me with this device is the very high-end finishing technique with details such as the pen tip, function buttons on the pen body and buttons at the end of the pen.

Overall the ASUS Pen 3.0.

The pen has a smooth, rough coating on the body that feels very nice to the touch.

The tip of the pen is also finished in a rough finish. Besides, the shell of the pen is finished in a smooth, rough finish, creating a very comfortable feeling of touch and holding. When I write on the laptop screen, the pen tip does not feel slippery and I can control the handwriting. Another thing I like about ASUS Pen 3.0 is that the charging dock has a magnetic suction mechanism that creates a click when the pen is placed in the right position. Hearing this sound is also very interesting, guys.
This is a video I recorded to let you hear the clicking sound when I put the ASUS Pen 3.0 into the charging dock. But unfortunately, my job mainly involves typing content and manipulating the keyboard more than using a pen to write and draw. Therefore, I hardly use the ASUS Pen. The inconvenience is that I can only charge the pen via the charging dock (USB-C wire connection) and cannot attract magnets with the ASUS Zenbook DUO 2026. To use the pen's magnetic suction mechanism, I must own ASUS ProArt PZ14.

According to ASUS, the back design of the ASUS ProArt PZ14 has a magnetic strip used to place the ASUS Pen 3.0.

The ASUS Pen 3.0 charging dock has a USB-C charging port. If ASUS introduces Pen 4.0 in the future, I expect the pen will have a magnetic attraction mechanism with many other ASUS laptop models. See more:
