(Dan Tri) - RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro attracted attention at IFA 2026 with a camera module that can be removed from the camera body, mounted on hats, bicycles or other accessories to record videos from the user's perspective.
In a context where smartphone design is increasingly difficult to differentiate, RugOne - a durable phone brand belonging to Ulefone - has chosen a different approach with Xsnap 7 Pro.
The product was introduced at the IFA 2026 technology exhibition in Berlin (Germany), featuring an action camera module integrated on the back. When needed, users can remove this module from the phone and use it independently.

The camera module weighs about 39g, attached to the back of the phone using a magnet combined with a mechanical latch. When removed from the device, the camera can be mounted on a hat, bicycle, strap or other accessories to record video from the user's perspective.
The separate camera is equipped with 64GB memory and its own battery, giving a maximum independent recording time of about 40 minutes. When attached back to the phone, the module can be recharged via the Xsnap 7 Pro's 9,300mAh battery.
This module supports up to 2.7K video recording at 30fps, using a 133-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. The camera also features distortion correction, electronic image stabilization, and horizon lock.

When the camera is removed from the phone, the Xsnap 7 Pro can act as a display and control device. The two devices connect wirelessly with a maximum distance of about 50m, allowing users to preview the frame and control recording and shooting through the application.
The removable camera is also waterproof and can operate at a maximum depth of 5m without the need for additional protection.
In addition to the action camera module, Xsnap 7 Pro also has an integrated camera system on the camera body, including a 50-megapixel camera that supports optical image stabilization and a 64-megapixel infrared camera for taking photos in low light conditions. The front camera has a resolution of 32 megapixels.

In terms of configuration, RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device uses MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chip, 12GB RAM and 512GB internal memory.
The phone is equipped with a 9,300mAh battery, supporting 45W wired fast charging. The large battery capacity makes the body about 19.1mm thick. In addition, the device also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging as announced by RugOne.

Xsnap 7 Pro is aimed at a group of users who regularly engage in outdoor activities. The device meets IP68 and IP69K dust and water resistance standards, and meets the US military durability standard MIL-STD-810H. RugOne says the product can withstand being immersed in water at a depth of 2m for 30 minutes and withstand a drop from a height of 1.5m to a concrete surface.
The device comes pre-installed with Android 16 and is expected to receive operating system updates to Android 20.
RugOne started a capital campaign for Xsnap 7 Pro on Kickstarter from September 7, with an initial preferential price from 799 euros, equivalent to about 930 USD. The product is expected to be widely available from October with a US price of 999 USD.
