Details of 3 products and technology solutions recently launched by Hanoi Police

(Dan Tri) - Three products and solutions recently launched by Hanoi Police include a smart Hanoi Police application, a wireless fire alarm device and a UAV to monitor security and order to increase surveillance capacity and serve the people.
On the morning of September 2, Hanoi City Police introduced 3 digital transformation products and solutions to serve the work of ensuring security and order, including: a wireless fire alarm production line, a smart Hanoi Police application (Hanoi Smart Police) and a UAV security surveillance solution.
According to Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Hanoi City Police, these are products and solutions built during the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthrough development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
The above three solutions and technology applications support the police force in improving its ability to command, operate, and handle situations; At the same time, it targets specific needs in urban life such as: receiving feedback on security and order; Detect congestion, traffic violations or early warning of fire and explosion risks.
Wireless fire alarm production line
Hanoi City Police has coordinated with the Academy of Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue to research, apply and produce wireless fire alarm equipment. The product has been assessed for quality according to regulations by the authorities and has been granted a certificate of conformity by the Department of Telecommunications and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Previously, on May 29, Hanoi City Police announced and introduced equipment produced by August Company under Hanoi City Police.

Wireless fire alarm system helps warn early when fire risks appear, increasing escape time; notify the authorities and organize initial firefighting, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property (Photo: Thuong Huyen).
This line aims to meet the needs of using fire alarm devices in households, businesses, production facilities and construction sites; At the same time, it is part of the implementation of the project "Twitter to build a fire prevention and fighting incident reporting and communication system" of the Ministry of Public Security.
Researching and organizing domestic equipment production is expected to help gradually master technological solutions, control quality, stabilize supply, and reduce costs; bringing fire warnings closer to each household and facility.
Smart Hanoi Police application
Hanoi Smart Police application is researched and developed by Hanoi City Police in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology in the form of a mini app on the iHanoi super application.
Hanoi Smart Police consists of two main subsystems: one subsystem serving the people and one subsystem for internal operations, command and administration of the police force.

For citizens, the application is expected to provide many groups of utilities directly related to interaction with police agencies. Users can report on the scene, send information related to security and order, or activate the SOS emergency signal when needing assistance and make an appointment to work with the police.
The scope of information integrated on the application also includes fire prevention and fighting infrastructure, parking spots, business establishments with security and order conditions and information on fire prevention and fighting violations. For urban travel activities, Hanoi Smart Police plans to provide information on traffic situation, congestion, flooding, accident black spots and road closure warnings.
Users can also monitor traffic cameras, access propaganda information about security and order, and use virtual assistants and AI chatbots to support lookup.

For the police force, the internal module integrates the 3D/4D digital map platform whose source code is owned by Vietnam, meeting the national digital map platform criteria. Professional data layers are organized by field, decentralizing access rights and ensuring security requirements, supporting officers and soldiers in monitoring the situation, analyzing data, commanding and operating missions.
According to Hanoi City Police, Hanoi Smart Police aims to form a two-way digital interaction channel between people and the police force. Feedback from the people can be connected to the reception and processing process, while spatial data is used to serve security and order management.
UAV solution for monitoring security and order
The third solution uses unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) combined with cameras and AI technology to support monitoring of urban order and traffic safety on a large scale.
UAVs have the ability to assist in identifying violations, detecting congestion, collisions, fires or unusual smoke; At the same time, transmit information to the Hanoi Police Command Information Center for functional forces to analyze, coordinate and handle.

During the testing period from June 1 to August 30, the system supported direct handling of 131 cases of violation of urban order and traffic safety order; 1,873 cases were transferred to units for classification, evaluation, documentation and handling of "cold fines"; Supported the Traffic Police Department in handling 2 traffic accidents and made 38 notifications, coordinating forces to resolve congestion as well as arising incidents.
Thanks to the ability to observe from above, UAVs allow functional forces to maneuver and cover routes and areas; Acting as an "eye in the air", adding mobile surveillance capabilities to the existing system.

In the next phase, Hanoi City Police will continue to improve conditions related to institutions, flight technical standards, data infrastructure and security for UAVs; At the same time, improve the accuracy of AI models and integrate deeper with command and control systems.
Accelerate digital transformation
In the coming time, Hanoi City Police will continue to focus resources and speed up the progress of the Emergency Order project to deploy 21,671 AI cameras to serve the work of ensuring security and order and supporting the resolution of 5 bottlenecks in the city.

The Director of Hanoi City Police requested heads of police units and localities to focus on performing tasks, proactively coordinate with all levels and branches, guide people to install and use smart Hanoi Police applications, and expand the model of wireless fire alarm devices to residential areas and households.
Regarding the UAV solution, Hanoi City Police will urgently deploy phase 2 of the security and order monitoring project; continue to research and integrate more smart business utilities to serve the work of functional forces; At the same time, units are required to focus on monitoring, urging, and coordinating with contractors to deploy the 21,671 AI camera system Emergency Order project on schedule.
