Ho Chi Minh City Police are looking for investors in the Daobit-Nexus virtual currency exchange

On June 11, the Police Investigation Agency (Criminal Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police) said that the unit was handling a case of fraudulent appropriation of property through virtual currency investment on the Daobit-Nexus exchange system by defendant Ngo Thi Ngoc Lan (also known as Bao Vien, born in 1984) and her accomplices.

According to the police, Ngo Thi Ngoc Lan and her accomplices established Nexusest Evesment VN AI Marketing Training Consulting Company Limited to promote the virtual currency project Nexus-Daobit.

Although the above virtual currency exchange system does not have investment activities but only mobilizes capital according to a multi-level model, the subjects still organize many consulting and introduction sessions. From there, the subjects created trust for the victims to call on them to invest and then appropriate billions of dong from many victims across the country.
