Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong's company will put satellites into orbit using SpaceX rockets
The information was announced by VinSpace Joint Stock Company, a member of the Vingroup ecosystem, on August 11. This is a form of many customers sharing a SpaceX launch to put satellites into orbit, in which VinSpace is responsible for researching, developing, manufacturing and operating the satellites after being put into orbit.
SpaceX's Transporter Rideshare is a joint launch service for many satellites on the same Falcon 9 rocket. Accordingly, instead of a business having to rent an entire rocket to launch a satellite, Elon Musk's company will gather dozens or hundreds of small satellites of many customers on the same trip to reduce costs.
According to the agreement between the two sides, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's company will test self-developed satellite modules. Enterprises want to gradually improve their ability to master satellite systems and deploy commercial applications in the future.
VinSpace Company was founded by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong on November 3, 2025, with a charter capital of 300 billion VND. This enterprise operates in 6 industries, notably manufacturing aircraft, spacecraft, telecommunications satellites, and air cargo transportation.
Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong currently holds 71% of VinSpace's capital. Vingroup is the second largest shareholder of this enterprise, owning 19% of the shares. The remaining capital belongs to Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh and Pham Nhat Minh Hoang, Mr. Vuong's two children.
According to Vingroup's 2025 annual report, Vinspace plans to manufacture and put the first micro satellite into orbit in 2027. In addition to manufacturing and launching satellites, they also build clean room facilities, testing equipment and ground station systems to ensure the project is implemented on schedule.
