Advantage:

- Thin and light design, good display screen.

- Good performance, strong battery.

- Integrate many AI tools to support work.

Limit:

- Does not support fingerprint sensor.

- Does not integrate a mobile SIM slot.

Editor's Tip:

Honor Pad V9 is suitable for students, office workers and users who need a thin and light device for studying, mobile work and high-quality multimedia entertainment.

However, users need to consider if they frequently travel in areas outside the WiFi coverage area and need an independent 4G/5G connection.

Honor Pad V9 has a minimalist design with the highlight being the camera cluster with two large circles on the back. The edges are beveled flat while the four corners are curved, giving a relatively comfortable grip. The entire body is made from solid monolithic metal with a weight of 475g and a thickness of 6.1mm.

Compared to some competitors in the same segment, iPad A16 weighs 477g and is 7mm thin; Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ weighs 664g and is 6mm thin; while Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 2026 weighs 515g and is 6.1mm thin.

The manufacturer says the back of the device has been treated with nanotechnology, helping to limit fingerprints and smudges during daily use. In addition, the machine also achieves 5-star SGS durability certification with 100N/mm bending resistance.

The keys are firmly finished and have good bounce. However, the product is not equipped with a fingerprint sensor security system. Users can only use password setup or 2D face unlock function.

The device owns a system of 8 external speakers, distributed evenly on both sides. Practical experience shows that the device's external speaker system is capable of reproducing sound with good detail, wide soundstage and strong bass. The sound is not noisy or noisy even when playing at maximum volume.

The Honor Pad V9's screen uses an 11.5-inch LCD panel, 2.8K resolution and 144Hz adaptive scanning frequency. This screen also supports DCI-P3 wide color range and the ability to display 1.07 billion colors (10-bit color depth).

The 3:2 display ratio of this screen helps optimize the space for displaying documents and e-books, especially suitable for reading and information research needs. However, this ratio also has limitations when watching videos, often leaving two black bands above and below the screen.

The screen is designed with equally thin bezels, providing a good visual experience. The display quality of this screen is quite good, the colors are soothing to the eyes, the viewing angle is wide and can be easily used in many different lighting conditions.

In addition, this device also integrates eBook mode, allowing the screen to display only black and white. This mode will be suitable for reading books or reading long texts, helping to limit eye strain and providing an experience similar to when using a book reader.

When adjusting the brightness to a low level, users can still use the device without experiencing glare at night. However, due to the general limitations of LCD panels, the black color displayed on this screen is not deep enough when compared to the OLED screen.

Honor Pad V9 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Elite processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory. The device also supports expanding virtual RAM capacity by 8GB to increase multitasking capabilities for the product.

Quickly evaluated through the AnTuTu Benchmark test, the device scored more than 1.7 million points. Quick comparison with competitors in the same test, iPad A16 using Apple A16 Bionic chip scored 1.3 million points; Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ uses Exynos 1580 processor, reaching about 1.26 million points; while Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 2026 scored more than 1.1 million points.

Thanks to the large heat dissipation area of the aluminum frame, the Honor Pad V9 maintains cool temperatures even when handling heavy tasks. The device can meet the needs of playing heavy games like Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves or Fortnite at medium-high graphics settings.

The power of the machine is not only shown through scoring tests but also in its ability to maintain performance when handling heavy tasks. With the Wild Life Extreme Stress Test on 3DMark software, the device's stability reached 87.2%. After about 20 minutes of high-intensity operation, the device's graphics performance recorded a negligible decline compared to the original.

Dan Tri reporters also tested the machine's performance with an excel file with more than 1,000 lines of information. The machine can completely handle smoothly and stably throughout the operation and working process.

The device is installed on the MagicOS 10.0 platform based on the Android 16 operating system. Honor also equips this device with full smart features such as Magic Portal to help drag and drop text and images quickly, or Magic Ring to support connection and data sharing between devices.

The battery equipped with the device has a capacity of 10,100 mAh. With normal use of about 2-3 hours a day, Honor Pad V9 can completely maintain operation throughout the working week.

Honor Pad V9 also supports connection to the Smart Bluetooth Keyboard. This accessory helps users use the device like a two-in-one hybrid computer, supporting the needs of typing and doing office work.

The keyboard has a standard leather case design, not a magnetic keyboard like high-end models. When both the keyboard and case are attached, the overall size of the device increases significantly. In return, the full cover helps protect the device better.

The typing experience is at a good level. The keys have good bounce but are relatively small in size and the keyboard does not have a touchpad, so users will need time to get used to it.

In addition, the device also supports the Magic Pencil 3 stylus and the Honor Notes toolkit. This application integrates a series of smart features such as AI Minutes that synchronizes voice recording and converts it into real-time text, AI Summary & Formatting that automatically summarizes and organizes notes, and the ability to recognize mathematical formulas and beautify handwriting.

Meanwhile, the pre-installed Honor Docs application suite allows flexible creation, reading and conversion between Word, Excel, PowerPoint formats and export to PDF files.

The main camera of the device has a resolution of 13MP, while the front camera has a resolution of 8MP. This camera system satisfies the needs of scanning documents, studying online or participating in video meetings via Zoom and Google Meet.

However, it is quite unfortunate that the Honor Pad V9 only has one version that supports WiFi connection. The device is not equipped with a SIM slot, so this may be a limitation for users who often travel in areas without WiFi connection.

The device also has integrated PC Mode, which helps simulate the user interface of a computer. When activating this mode, applications will display in mobile window mode, allowing users to arrange and resize to multitask up to 4 different application windows at the same time. This helps users make the most of the large screen on the device to work.

In the Vietnamese market, Honor Pad V9 is sold by dealers at a price of 15 million VND. The device competes directly with a number of competitors in the same segment such as iPad A16, Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ or Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 2026.

The device is suitable for students, office workers or those looking for a thin, light, versatile tablet for flexible work, study and high-quality entertainment.

On the contrary, the device is not suitable for groups of users who frequently travel and work remotely, in places where WiFi connection is not available. In addition, the product is also limited in that it does not support biometric security using fingerprints.
