This is the Razer Soma Chroma - the first wirelessly connected, LED strip gaming chair from Razer
This is the first time I've seen a Razer gaming chair with an integrated Chroma RGB lighting system that can be transmitted wirelessly via a 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed dongle on a PC (or Bluetooth with a mobile device). Sounds really strange. Users can adjust the effects and brightness of the lights via the Razer Furniture application or use the built-in controls on the chair.

Besides, Razer Soma Chroma can operate with an adapter or regular backup battery. The chair also has a built-in battery pocket behind the backrest to limit wires from getting tangled on the floor, great!

The Razer Soma Chroma also reminds me of Project Madison that Razer displayed at the CES 2026 exhibition in January. This gaming chair concept also has RGB LED strips on the shoulders and even integrates THX Spatial Audio speakers with Sensa HD vibration feedback to create an interesting gaming experience. Perhaps future successors to the Razer Soma Chroma will have more speakers like that, for example.
