Dell launches a laptop aimed at students, competing with the MacBook Neo

(Dan Tri) - Dell has just introduced the 14S laptop model with a thin, light design, 14-inch screen and many configuration options.

The product is aimed at students and office users, in a segment that competes with low-priced laptop models such as Apple's MacBook Neo.

Dell 14S has 4 color options including beige, pink, blue and green. The device has a starting configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Users can choose 16GB RAM version, combined with 512GB or 1TB SSD.

The product has a metal case, 13.5mm thickness and weight 1.15kg. Dell offers the 14S with Intel Core 5 320 or Core 7 350 processor options.

Dell 14S is equipped with a 14-inch screen, 2.8K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Users can also choose a 2K resolution screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, depending on usage needs and battery life.

According to Dell, the version equipped with a suitable screen can play Netflix videos continuously for up to 21 hours.

In terms of connectivity, the device has 2 USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, an HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 1080p resolution webcam supports Windows Hello, allowing users to log in with facial recognition.

Dell 14S is sold first in the US and is expected to expand to other markets. At the time of launch, Dell had not announced the official selling price of the product.

Some sources say that the Dell 14S could have a starting price of around $700. However, this price has not been confirmed by Dell.
