Go see Sennheiser MOMENTUM 5 Wireless: what's remarkable about the new flagship?

At P.H.E Show 2026, Sennheiser brings MOMENTUM 5 Wireless, the latest generation of the MOMENTUM high-end wireless headset line. This is also the first time Vietnamese users can directly experience this headphone model before the product officially hits the shelves. Compared to the previous generation, MOMENTUM 5 Wireless does not only focus on improving sound quality. Sennheiser has upgraded quite comprehensively, from the noise canceling system, spatial audio, battery life to the ability to replace components to extend the product life cycle.
42 mm driver, supports aptX Lossless
MOMENTUM 5 Wireless uses a 42 mm dynamic driver developed and manufactured by Sennheiser in Tullamore, Ireland, inspired by the HD 600 series. Sennheiser said the new driver has improved resolution, aiming for full, energetic sound with vivid bass range but still retains detail and separation.

The headset supports Hi-Res Audio, Snapdragon Sound and aptX Lossless. Through the Smart Control Plus app, users can customize the 8-band EQ or use Sound Personalization to create their own sound profile.
Active noise cancellation with 8 microphones
MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is equipped with 8 microphones, twice as many as the previous generation. This system serves ANC, Transparency Mode and calls simultaneously.

Dolby Atmos for the first time
Another notable upgrade is that MOMENTUM 5 Wireless supports Dolby Atmos combined with Dynamic Head Tracking for the first time. As the user rotates their head, the system can maintain a sense of the sound source's location in space, creating a more immersive experience when watching movies or listening to content that supports spatial audio.
Has USB-C audio and BTD 700
MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is more than just listening to music via Bluetooth. The headset supports USB-C audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz, so it can be connected directly to a computer or compatible device to stream audio over USB. Additionally, the headset can be used with the Sennheiser BTD 700, a USB Bluetooth transmitter. Similar to the HDB 630 model: plug the dongle into the source to connect directly to the headset and take advantage of high-quality Bluetooth codecs, including aptX Lossless under the right conditions.

57-hour battery, self-replaceable
MOMENTUM 5 Wireless has up to 57 hours of battery life even with ANC on. In particular, the 700 mAh battery can be replaced by users using a small screwdriver, while the ear cushions can also be replaced. This is quite a notable point when looking at the product life cycle. When the battery or ear cushions degrade after many years, users can replace each part instead of having to replace the entire headset.
