Vietnam ranks 7th in the world in terms of new generation Internet usage rate

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, digital technology industry revenue in September is estimated at 770,766 billion VND, an increase of 36% over the same period in 2025. Accumulated in the first 9 months of the year, the entire industry's revenue is estimated at 5,387,142 billion VND, equivalent to more than 5.38 million billion VND, up 32.1% over the same period.

Regarding Internet infrastructure, as of September 15, Vietnam had 703,236 ".vn" national domain names maintained, an increase of 5.7% over the same period last year.

The rate of using new generation IPv6 Internet addresses reached 67%, ranking second in Southeast Asia and seventh in the world according to data published by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Apple has difficulty with iPhone Duo

A source close to Foxconn's supply chain said that as of September 17, the rate of finished products in the final assembly of the iPhone Duo was only slightly more than 60%. According to Apple's current quality standards, the assembly line may need another 6 months to a year to reach stable and optimal performance.

Worth mentioning, the problems seem to extend beyond final assembly. Jiemian News said that OLED panels for folding screens and hinge components provided by Samsung Display encountered delays and had to change designs.

Delays in these components give assemblers less time to fine-tune production lines. In another report, MyDrivers said that one of the equipment processing units asked Apple to choose between prioritizing the rate of finished products or increasing production.

The headphones have a C-bridge design made of silicone, providing comfortable wearing for long periods of time. The product integrates a 12mm driver and LDAC high-quality audio transmission capability. The headphones also meet IP57 dust and water resistance standards, which can meet the needs of exercising in many different weather conditions.

Forecasting RAM crisis

Micron, one of the world's largest memory chip manufacturers, has just issued a warning about the outlook for RAM supply in the period 2027-2028. This business believes that the shortage may become more serious than in 2026.

Accordingly, more than 75% of expected output in 2027 has been committed to purchase by customers. Many new supply negotiations are now aimed at 2028. Although semiconductor businesses are investing in factory expansion, increasing capacity cannot happen in the short term.

The process of building, installing equipment and putting the line into operation can take many years. This makes it difficult for supply to keep up with rapidly growing demand. Micron cannot even determine when the memory market will return to equilibrium.

iPhone 18 Pro Max keeps having errors

According to MacRumors, some iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max users reported that their devices sometimes make unusual crunching sounds. Users describe the sound as a crunching, ticking, or random clicking sound. Many people said that the problem is mainly noted in the phone speaker.

Some people hear this sound constantly, while others only hear it while using an app, scrolling a web page, when the keyboard appears, or when making a call over a cellular network.

Previously on September 29, Apple released iOS 27.0.1 update to fix problems related to Face ID on iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The issue may cause the device to reboot automatically when facial recognition fails.

Cheap robot vacuum cleaners are no longer popular with Vietnamese people

According to a report from market research company GfK, the market share of low-cost robot vacuum cleaners (2-4 million VND) in the first quarter decreased by 68% compared to the same period in 2025. The popular segment (6-8 million VND) also decreased by 32% in the same period.

Meanwhile, the product group in the mid-range price segment (VND 8-10 million) has risen to become the main development driving force, accounting for 21.6% of the entire market. This segment also recorded growth exceeding the 100% mark compared to the same period last year.

This fluctuation reflects a clear shift in the purchasing trend of smart home appliances among Vietnamese consumers. Instead of choosing low-cost models with many reduced features or expensive high-end product lines, most users prioritize the mid-range segment, which provides a balanced experience between investment costs and actual use value.
