Weekly points: Apple increases MacBook prices, Facebook displays pornographic videos

Apple increases prices of iPad, MacBook
Last week, Apple increased prices for a series of products, including MacBook, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod and Vision Pro. Accordingly, the price of MacBook Neo simultaneously increased by 3 million VND compared to before. MacBook Air M5 standard version also increased from 30 million VND to 36 million VND. The difference is up to 6 million VND.

For MacBook Pro M5, Apple has discontinued selling the version with 512GB storage capacity. Currently, the company only offers a minimum 1TB option with a starting price of 55 million VND.
Not stopping there, Apple also increased the prices of a series of iPad versions. Specifically, the price of iPad Air increased from 16.7 million VND to 21 million VND for the standard version. iPad Pro also increased its price from 30 million VND to 36 million VND.
Many Adobe users in Vietnam had their services canceled
About a week ago, many users said they suddenly received service cancellation emails from Adobe for the reason "fraudulent activity detected on the account". Worth mentioning, the canceled accounts were all genuine registered users.

Many account holders expressed frustration with Adobe's move, and confirmed that they had paid in full via bank card and the software package was still within its validity period.
The review is performed via internal software Adobe Genuine Service (AGS) running in the background on the device. AGS can identify devices that have installed pirated software. Many people believe that this may be the reason why a series of accounts had their services canceled during the recent raid from Adobe.
The headset integrates an AI chip and a smart screen
The charging box on Liberty 5 Pro Max integrates a 1.78-inch AMOLED screen, supporting recording without needing to connect a phone. The headset uses a 10-sensor matrix, including 8 MEMS microphones and 2 bone conduction sensors, combined with the AI THUS chip for more accurate voice separation.

The device supports AI Sound Enhancement, which supports the regeneration of frequency bands lost during Bluetooth compression, restoring up to 65% of sound quality often lost during wireless transmission. The headset supports Multipoint multi-device connection and meets IP55 dust and water resistance standards.
Older iPhones are in danger
Security researchers at Paradigm Shift have just discovered a vulnerability called usbliter8. This vulnerability affects millions of devices including iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

This security vulnerability affects a series of older iPhone models such as iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone SE (2nd generation), iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Not stopping there, many other product lines are also affected including iPad Air 3, iPad mini 5, iPad Gen 8 and Gen 9, Studio Display, Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 5, Apple Watch SE (1st generation), Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) and HomePod mini.
Facebook shows porn videos
According to many Facebook users, when searching with the keyword "v*****", instead of returning the desired results, this social networking platform displays extremely offensive pornographic video content.

These videos are displayed publicly without filters to blur or hide sensitive content. This situation occurs when using Facebook on the computer web or on applications for Android and iOS platforms.
In addition, articles appearing in Facebook search results also include links to lead users to the "dark web" or even the possibility that the websites contain malicious code to steal user information.
