Facebook suffers from widespread problems
At around 8:40 p.m. on June 12, many Facebook users in Vietnam could not log in to this social network. Specifically, when accessing Facebook using the web platform, users will receive the message: "Sorry, something happened. We are working and will soon handle this problem."
Meanwhile, some users reported that their Facebook and Messenger accounts on their phones were suddenly logged out of their phones. When trying to log in again, the system will report an error.
Not only in Vietnam, this incident is also happening globally. By 9:30 p.m. the same day, the problem was gradually resolved.
Websites broadcasting pirated football have exploded
Just search for the keyword "Twitteroi Lac" on Google, users can easily come across a series of websites using this keyword to advertise illegal football broadcasting channels. When a domain name is blocked, new domains quickly appear in its place.
The main goal of these websites is to exploit traffic for illegal money-making activities.
In addition to pirated broadcast content, website interfaces are often dense with advertising banners, pop-up windows and redirection links to soccer betting websites, illegal card game portals or links with potential risks of spreading malicious code.
The network calls on people to urgently authenticate their subscriptions
According to information from Viettel Telecommunications Corporation (Viettel Telecom), this unit has completed authentication for more than 90% of customers who need to be processed. However, Viettel Telecom said the biggest challenge today lies in the remaining 5 million subscribers, equivalent to 7% of the total number that needs authentication.
Sharing that effort, a representative of VinaPhone network said that to date, 18 million subscribers have completed authentication, but there are still about 3 million subscribers who have not completed the procedure.
Regarding handling measures after the June 15 deadline, subscribers who do not complete authentication will be blocked from one-way calling and texting. If you continue to fail to do so after 60 days from the time of one-way lock (or 30 days in case of changing terminal), the subscription will be two-way locked.
Intel Vietnam factory contributes more than 110 billion USD in export value
In 2006, Intel started construction of a factory in Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park (SHTP). Currently, Intel Products Vietnam (IPV) has become the largest chip assembly and testing facility in Intel's global network, creating about 6,500 jobs in the high-tech field.
To date, Intel has committed to invest a total of 4.1 billion USD in Vietnam. IPV plays a key role in Intel's production network, notably the Intel Series 3 advanced processor line for AI PC based on Intel 18A process technology.
Over the past 20 years, IPV has shipped more than 4 billion product units and contributed more than 110 billion USD in export value. In 2025 alone, IPV will contribute about 11.67 billion USD in export value, accounting for 57% of SHTP's total export turnover and about 12% of Ho Chi Minh City's total export turnover.
