The price of Pi coin dropped to a record low
On the afternoon of June 4, the Pi Network coin price fell to a record low, only 0.1186 USD, before increasing slightly to 0.13 USD. Currently, the Pi coin price is trading around 0.12 USD. To date, Pi price has lost 36.5% compared to the beginning of 2026 and decreased by up to 96% compared to the peak of 3 USD in February 2025.
Amid the sharp decline in the value of the Pi coin, Pi Network has activated Protocol 24, which is an important technical upgrade of the Pi Network blockchain network, aimed at optimizing network performance and fixing technical errors from previous versions. This is a move to push the price of Pi up.
However, in reality, this has not had any major impact on the value of the Pi coin. Market analysts even predict that the price of Pi will continue to fall below 0.1 USD in the near future.
A series of Instagram accounts were attacked
Many Instagram accounts with large numbers of followers of famous figures such as the former official account of former US President Barack Obama, Chief Master Sergeant of the US Space Force... were simultaneously taken over by hackers.
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, intervened to take back these Instagram accounts from hackers and said it would investigate the hackers' attack method.

Android phones support fake call blocking

Recently, Google has integrated hardware authentication technology based on RCS (Rich Communication Services) communication protocol right into the default calling application Google Dialer. The system will closely link the user's phone number with their smartphone.
When a call is made between two Android devices, the caller's phone automatically sends a real-time silent background confirmation signal to the recipient's phone for authentication.
Xiaomi Vietnam was fined
On May 7, the National Competition Commission issued Decision No. 123/QD-XPHC sanctioning Xiaomi Vietnam Co., Ltd. with a fine of 290 million VND.
According to the National Competition Commission, the company does not give consumers the choice to allow or disallow the use of consumer information for advertising, introducing products, goods, services and other commercial activities.
This behavior violates point b, clause 4, Article 18 of the Law on Consumer Protection;
Not notifying consumers in advance or not publicly disclosing to consumers the sponsorship of an influencer in any form to use this person's image, advice, or recommendations to promote trade or encourage consumers to buy and use products, goods, and services.
This behavior violates Point h, Clause 1, Article 10 of the Law on Consumer Rights Protection 2023.
Android phones can “AirDrop” to iPhones
Sharing photos, videos or documents between Android and iPhone has long been one of the major barriers between the two ecosystems. However, Google is gradually eliminating this gap through the Quick Share feature compatible with Apple's AirDrop.
According to the latest announcement from Google, this feature will be expanded to more Android smartphone models in 2026, instead of being limited to just a few Pixel devices as before.
Google said the goal is to bring AirDrop interoperability to the majority of the Android ecosystem, helping users no longer have to rely on third-party applications or cloud storage services when needing to transfer files to iPhone.
Revealing the folding screen iPhone
One of the biggest barriers in the current folding screen phone segment is the complex hardware structure, making disassembly and repair difficult and expensive. However, a source from Instant Digital shared that Apple is completely solving this problem on the iPhone Ultra.
The device is expected to become an easy-to-disassemble and repair folding screen phone on the market thanks to reverse engineering thinking and high modularity. Apple has eliminated the complicated connection cable system often found on rival folding devices - the main factor that hinders the disassembly process.
Instead, the iPhone Ultra's motherboard will be arranged entirely on the right half of the device. To avoid having to run cables across the screen that folds to the left side for the volume keys, Apple engineers routed the wiring straight up.
