The network operator turns off 2G signal

From September 15, Vietnamese telecommunications businesses began to stop broadcasting 2G networks nationwide. The frequency band that was once exploited for 2G is now being used for 4G and 5G technology. This is a foundation for Internet speed in Vietnam to continue to increase in the coming time.

2G is the abbreviation for second generation mobile telecommunications network technology. The 2G network was commercially deployed based on the GSM standard in Finland by the network operator Radiolinja (currently part of the telecommunications company Elisa Oyj) in 1991. In Vietnam, the 2G network was officially deployed in 1993.

The 2G network is considered "outdated" by many countries around the world and contains many vulnerabilities. Cybercriminals can take advantage of this feature to distribute spam and fake messages to user devices via 2G waves with fake BTS stations, causing a lot of damage to users.

As AI, robotics, local computing, and connected systems bring once-separate technologies closer together, the lines between categories are blurring. Anker said unifying products and technology under one name helps the company focus its brand resources, while creating a more consistent experience.

Anker will introduce the catalog in two groups. In particular, Anker For You is technology that accompanies users throughout the day, including charging, audio, personal health and creative tools. Anker For Home is solutions for the home that can take care of itself, including home security, robotics and home energy.

The source believes that the increase partly comes from customers who previously delayed their decision to buy a new phone to wait for Apple's first folding screen product. After the iPhone Duo was announced, a part of them is said to have chosen the Galaxy Z Fold8.

However, the report does not provide specific device sales numbers. The 10% increase also only reflects fluctuations over a period of one week in the Korean market, not enough to show the long-term trend of the folding screen smartphone market.

On the evening of September 18, at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam (Hanoi), the 3D Mapping film "Cultivating Talents" was introduced, taking the audience to explore the nearly 1,000-year history of Quoc Tu Giam - a place that trained and nurtured many generations of intellectuals for the country.

With a duration of about 12 minutes, the film begins in Thang Long in 1010, leading viewers to the birth of Quoc Tu Giam under King Ly Nhan Tong and the nation's tradition of respecting learning and using talents.

The work uses three images throughout, including the sound of drums, woodblocks and birds flying toward the Sun. In particular, the flock of birds flying in a V shape symbolizes generations of adult students, carrying knowledge and the mission of serving the country.

According to the organizers, the image of a flock of birds gradually expanded from the initially modest number, demonstrating the process of Quoc Tu Giam gradually accepting Confucian scholars from the common class with excellent academic abilities.
