Honor's robot phone leaks configuration and launch time

(Dan Tri) - Honor Robot Phone continues to reveal more notable information before its launch, from the 200 MP gimbal camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip to 120w fast charging.

Honor's robot camera phone model, often referred to in the media as Robot Phone, is increasingly appearing in leaks and certification records in China, suggesting that the product may be introduced soon.
Previously, Honor demonstrated device prototypes at many events such as CES 2026, MWC 2026 and Cannes Film Festival. The highlight is the camera cluster placed on a robotic arm-like moving mechanism, integrated with 3-axis gimbal stabilization to improve image stabilization.
Honor said it will introduce this smartphone model in the third quarter of 2026. Although no specific time has been announced, many sources predict the product may launch in China in August.
According to Digital Chat Station, the device will have a 6.3-6.4 inch flat screen, 1.5K resolution and thin screen borders on four sides. The device is also rumored to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the chip that is expected to appear on the Honor Magic 8.

Regarding the camera, leaked sources said the device could be equipped with a 200MP main sensor, combined with a new generation gimbal anti-shake system, along with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. In addition, Honor is said to be developing an AI image processing platform to improve shooting and recording quality.
Digital Chat Station believes that Robot Phone can serve as a technology test model before Honor brings new camera features to future flagships.
Recently, a device bearing the code APH-AN00 also appeared on the databases of MIIT and 3C in China. In particular, the 3C profile shows that the device is likely to support 120W fast charging. However, Honor has not yet confirmed the above specifications.
