Editor's advice:
Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme is especially suitable for families that value comfort, live in large spaces, have pets or use a lot of thick carpets.
On the contrary, if the family only needs basic flat floor cleaning, robots with moderate capacity or using rolling mop technology will be more optimal in terms of cost and performance.
X60 Ultra Extreme is an upgraded version of the X60 Ultra model that Dreame announced earlier this year. The overall appearance of the product is almost unchanged compared to the previous generation. The most noticeable difference is that the front of the charging station has a glossy finish, creating a more eye-catching appearance but easily attracting dust and fingerprints.

The size of this charging station is relatively compact. The upper area has a clean water tank with a capacity of 4.2 liters and a dirty water tank with a capacity of 3 liters. The two clean water bottles and dirty water bottles are designed with two different colors so that users can easily identify them.
At the bottom is a container for cleaning solution and trash bags. This is the standard design of most robot vacuum cleaners in the high-end segment.
The valuable point in the design language of this robot model lies in its ultra-thin design with an overall height of only about 8.9cm. To achieve this impressive thinness without sacrificing navigation capabilities, Dreame developed the LDS positioning sensor system that automatically retracts.
On popular robots, the fixed LDS laser tower assembly is often raised high, making the device susceptible to impact or jamming when trying to get inside low interior chassis. On the contrary, when Dreame
Thanks to that, the device easily penetrates into tight spaces for aggressive cleaning while still maintaining accurate positioning.

Practical usage experience with cleaning a house with an area of 60m2 (cleaning frequency once a day), users will need to refill clean water and pour dirty water after about 4-5 days of use depending on the setting.
The product also supports the option of installing an automatic water supply and discharge system, allowing users to use it hands-free without needing to replace water regularly. However, it should be noted that the automatic water dispenser is an accessory sold separately and is not included with the device.
The ability to move intelligently and avoid obstacles on the Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme is supported by the OmniSight 3.0 AI system. The heart of this system is a 120-degree super wide-angle dual AI camera cluster combined with 3D spatial recognition sensor technology.

This combination provides the robot with a panoramic view of its surroundings, allowing the device to collect real-time image data and analyze details in the house with high resolution.
Thanks to that, the robot is able to recognize and classify more than 300 different types of objects on the floor. The device not only recognizes large obstacles such as table and chair legs or potted plants, but also easily detects very small objects only about 10 mm in size.
Small objects that often cause stuck situations for popular robots such as phone chargers, electrical cords, children's toys, house slippers or pet food trays are all accurately recognized by Dreame
Based on data collected from dual AI cameras and 3D sensors, the robot can quickly calculate a safe distance and automatically adjust the optimal moving route around obstacles. The robot will move close to the edge of the object to clean without strong collisions that damage the furniture or sweep small objects into the suction brush.
The combination of the OmniSight 3.0 AI recognition system and the LDS tower automatic collapsing mechanism helps the robot operate smoothly in apartments with dense furniture density. The situation of the robot being stuck under the table, tangled in electrical wires or standing still waiting for rescue is almost completely eliminated.

Compared to its predecessor, Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme continues to be improved with the ability to overcome single 5.2cm high steps and 10cm double thresholds. This is also one of the highest stair-climbing robot vacuum cleaner models available on the market. The new design helps the robot overcome complex terrain such as ledges and low steps, avoiding getting stuck and maintaining a seamless cleaning process.
This feature is especially useful in houses with many rooms separated by steps or barriers. Users will no longer have to spend time and effort setting up the robot to clean each room like before.
The outstanding technology upgrade on the Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme lies in the Dual UltraExtend dual robot arm system. This flexible mechanical structure allows both the edge brush and the rag system to actively extend beyond the machine body, thereby increasing the ability to clean dead corners.

Accordingly, the side brush has the ability to expand up to a maximum of 12cm, helping to sweep away fine dust deep in wall corners or skirting lines. Meanwhile, the round rag cluster at the back can extend out up to 18cm, slipping deep beneath table legs, chair legs and complex interior nooks.
The synchronous operation of the two UltraExtend dual arms helps the robot significantly increase the coverage area, completely eliminating cleaning blind spots that many popular robot lines were previously inaccessible.
For floor cleaning tasks, the robot possesses a dual rotating mop system with a rotation speed of up to 280 rpm. This rag cluster not only rotates to create friction but also exerts a continuous pressure of about 15N on the floor.
The combination of mechanical pressure and high rotation speed allows Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme to simulate manual floor cleaning, easily removing dry stains such as coffee stains, sauces or mud stains on the floor.
Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme is equipped with a new generation Vormax suction motor with a maximum suction force of up to 42,000Pa, among the strongest available on the market. This upgrade allows the robot to easily remove fine dust, hair, pet hair, and dust particles embedded deep in floor or carpet crevices.

Combined with a smart power adjustment algorithm, the robot can automatically increase suction power when passing through carpets or detecting areas with a lot of dirt, ensuring the floor is always as clean as possible.
To completely solve the problem of tangled hair, a common obsession in families with pets or people with long hair, Dreame equips the X60 Ultra Extreme with an effective anti-tangle DuoBrush 2.0 dual brush system. This system uses two squeegees that rotate simultaneously to roll up dust and separate hair and pet hair as soon as it is sucked in.
The strong suction airflow will push hair and fur directly into the dust container without allowing them to wrap tightly around the broom body. Thanks to that, the robot maintains a stable suction flow throughout operation and helps users no longer have to waste time manually untangling hair after each cleaning.
The piece that completes the hands-free experience on the Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme is the automatic multi-function charging station. This charging station acts as a closed center that takes care of all complex maintenance steps.
After completing the cleaning cycle, the robot returns to the station to automatically suck all the dirt from the dust box on the machine body into a large capacity dust bag. The charging station continues to use hot water to clean the rag, removing grease and bacteria on the fabric fibers, then blows hot air to dry the rag completely, preventing odors and mold from growing.

Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme allows full feature management through the Dreamehome application on the phone. Users can easily set up multi-layer 3D maps, clean partitions, set no-entry areas, schedule automatic work schedules and track travel routes in real time.
In particular, the device also supports deep integration into the Apple Home ecosystem, providing voice control and smooth combination with other smart home devices.
With an asking price of about 33 million VND in the Vietnamese market, Dreame X60 Ultra Extreme competes with a number of competitors in the same segment such as Roborock Saros 20 Sonic and Ecovacs Deebot X11 Pro Omni.

The product converges a series of mechanical breakthroughs, AI recognition technology and the ability to automate the cleaning process. With the orientation of providing a touchless cleaning solution, this robot solves most of the inherent limitations of traditional robots.
Of course, the initial investment cost of this product is also higher than popular cleaning robot models on the market.
