Dyson just released the CameraJet toothbrush, it's great!! There is a dental camera and automatic water flosser spraying
Today, scrolling through the news, Dyson continues to expand into the personal care segment with a device for oral health instead of hairdressing like before, which is the CameraJet smart electric toothbrush. The first thing that overwhelmed me was the price of 499 USD, which is not cheap for a toothbrush. However, when looking at the pile of technology that Dyson crams inside with two color options: ceramic blue and ceramic pink, I see that the company has turned a daily cleaning routine into a very futuristic technology experience. The most unique feature of CameraJet lies in the tiny camera cluster with a resolution of 100,000 pixels and a flashing LED light placed right under the brush head. This camera cluster can transmit images directly via Wi-Fi to your phone so you can clearly see every corner of your oral cavity like a dentist. More interestingly, the AI system will analyze 28 live frames per second through interdental optical positioning. All images are processed directly on the device, not stored or sent to the cloud, so you can rest assured about privacy. When AI detects a gap between two teeth, within just 100 milliseconds, the machine will automatically shoot out a cone-shaped stream of mouthwash to clean plaque. Thanks to the spray beam being wider than a traditional water flosser, the thrust doesn't need to be too strong to still be clean, helping to protect tooth enamel and be more gentle on the gums.
As for the brush head, Dyson combines soft bristles on the outside to protect the gum line and hard bristles on the inside to remove yellow plaque. The brush head vibrates nearly 1,000 times per second and continuously changes the angle of inclination to increase cleaning efficiency. Each brush head also has an RFID chip built into it so that the machine can monitor the level of wear and tear and automatically remind you to replace it every 3 months.
The 12.5ml mouthwash tank inside the body of the device is also very smartly designed with an air bag that gradually inflates to eliminate air bubbles, helping to maintain steady spray pressure in any holding position, even when you turn the brush upside down. Comes with the device is an extremely good multi-purpose charging dock that can both charge the battery and automatically fill the mouthwash bottle in just 3 short seconds. The toothbrush is still compatible with regular toothpaste and mouthwash, but Dyson also plans to sell non-foaming toothpaste and low-foam mouthwash separately for the clearest camera view.
Personally, I think the price of 499 USD is really high, but for those who are lazy to floss or are afraid of the sharp pain of a regular dental check-up, this smart combination of toothbrushing and automatic interdental spray is an investment worth considering.
