Facebook encountered a strange error, many people thought their account was locked

The above situation makes many people worry that their accounts have been locked. However, this is only a problem from Facebook's side.

Recorded by Dan Tri reporter at 2:30 p.m. on July 19, many users when accessing Facebook on a web browser received the message: "Account is temporarily unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a problem on the website. We hope this problem will be fixed soon. Please try again in a few minutes."

The above announcement makes many people mistakenly think that their Facebook account has been disabled or has security problems.

However, in reality, this is a problem from Facebook's side. Users cannot access this social network on the web browser, while the Facebook application on the phone still works normally.

Additionally, even on the mobile app, some features don't work properly. Many users report that the comment section of articles loads very slowly or does not display content even though the Internet connection is normal.

According to Dan Tri reporter's research, the incident caused disruption, not only in Vietnam but globally. Up to now, the Downdetector incident tracking site has recorded more than 3,000 reports from users about service disruptions.

Meta has not made an official comment or announcement about the cause of the problem.
