According to the agreement, the two sides will combine Microsoft's AI platform with FPT's deployment capacity to support businesses in accelerating the AI application process, modernizing technology infrastructure and improving operational efficiency.

FPT is also expected to have priority access to Microsoft's new generation AI technologies.

In the next three years, FPT aims to equip about 20,000 employees with Microsoft AI technologies to serve the implementation of large-scale AI projects.

Currently, the group says it has about 30,000 engineers empowered by AI globally and is applying tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot in internal operations.

Besides the corporate sector, FPT and Microsoft will also expand cooperation in the public sector, building AI solution frameworks consistent with Vietnam's development orientation, while developing human resources and the domestic AI ecosystem.

FPT and Microsoft began cooperating in 1996. In 2026, FPT became the first enterprise system integration partner in Southeast Asia to receive the title of Microsoft's Frontier Partner.
