GAC GS3 EMZOOM 1.5T launched in Vietnam market, priced at 639 million VND
GAC Vietnam has just officially introduced the All-New GS3 EMZOOM 1.5T Premium R SUV model in the B-size high chassis segment. At the time of launch, this model was distributed with a single version with a suggested retail price of 639 million VND (VAT included). To compete in the segment, the distributor applies a 7-year or 150,000 km warranty, and also offers a 24/7 rescue package and free periodic maintenance for a period of 7 years. In terms of design, the GS3 EMZOOM is developed on the GAC Mega Chassis chassis platform in the "Star Diamond Shadow" language, characterized by angular cut lines towards a sporty style. The front of the car stands out with a large grille combined with Laser Eye-shaped LED lights. Other notable exterior details include hidden electric door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels with integrated tire pressure sensor (TPMS), rear sports spoiler and full LED taillights. Customers have 3 exterior paint color options including Graphite Black, Frost White and Asphalt Black.
The cabin uses a two-tone Black/Blue color scheme. Thanks to the flat floor design in the rear seats, legroom is optimized to be equivalent to some C-size SUVs. When you need to carry a lot of luggage, folding the second row of seats will help expand the storage capacity to 1,271 liters.
The comfort system on the GS3 EMZOOM 1.5T Premium R is quite rich in its price range with a 7-inch digital dashboard and a 10.25-inch touch entertainment screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The car is also equipped with a crystal electronic gear lever, 6-speaker DTS sound system, wireless phone charger, automatic air conditioning with integrated PM1.0 air filter, air vents for the rear seats and a panoramic sunroof.
The car's power comes from a 1.5L Turbo GDI (1.5TGDi) turbocharged gasoline engine, combined with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7WDCT). This engine block produces a maximum capacity of 174 horsepower and maximum torque of 270 Nm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in about 8 seconds before reaching the limited maximum speed. Combined cycle fuel consumption according to NEDC standards is announced at 5.9 liters/100km. The driver can choose from 4 operating modes including ECO, COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+. Notably, this model once completed a test lap in under 3 minutes in a group of standard B-SUVs at the Sepang international racetrack, Malaysia.
In terms of safety, the Premium R version has a level 2 ADAS driving assistance system that includes a full range of features such as: adaptive automatic throttle (ACC), traffic jam assistance (TJA), integrated steering assistance (ICA), forward collision warning (FCW), automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning (LDW), lane keeping assist (LKA) and smart headlight system (HBA). In addition, other support equipment includes a 360-degree 3D display camera, FAPA automatic parking assistance system and 6 safety airbags to protect passengers.
