Galaxy S26 FE launched with a 4,900mAh battery and a series of AI features
(Dan Tri) - Galaxy S26 FE was introduced with a number of upgrades in camera, AI features, battery and is the first model in the Galaxy S26 series to be launched with One UI 9, an interface based on the Android 17 operating system.
Galaxy S26 FE is the first model in the Galaxy S26 series introduced by Samsung with One UI 9.
Regarding the camera, the device has three rear cameras, including a 50MP wide-angle camera that supports OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree viewing angle and an 8MP telephoto camera that supports OIS, 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom.
The front camera has 12MP resolution. According to Samsung, this camera has a wider shooting angle than the Galaxy S25 FE, allowing more details to be captured in the same frame.
Galaxy S26 FE is integrated with My FanCam, a feature that automatically tracks selected subjects and adjusts the frame according to movement.
When recording video, Super Steady incorporates Horizontal Lock to help stabilize the image and keep the horizon level. The device also has Nightography, Samsung's suite of low-light photography features.
Regarding AI, Photo Assist allows users to use commands to edit photos, such as changing the time of day, adding or restoring some details.
Now Brief is also integrated on Galaxy S26 FE. According to Samsung, this feature is supplemented with information cards about weather, health and some other content. Users can create information cards using commands.
Meanwhile, Circle to Search with Google is supplemented with the ability to search for multiple objects at the same time in one image.
Galaxy S26 FE has a 4,900mAh battery, supports 45W wired charging, 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare. Samsung says the device can charge from 0% to 69% in about 30 minutes when using a 45W charger.
The device's screen is 6.7 inches in size, uses a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, FHD+ resolution and maximum scan frequency of 120Hz. Maximum brightness is announced at 1,900 nits.
Galaxy S26 FE has dimensions of 161.6 x 76.9 x 7.4mm, weight 193g and meets IP68 water and dust resistance standards.
Samsung said the Galaxy S26 FE will be supported with 7 operating system upgrades and 7 years of security updates.
In Vietnam, Galaxy S26 FE will be on sale from August 28 with two versions 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. The device is available in Blueberry Blue, Twitter Graphite and Pistachio Blue colors, priced from 18.99 million VND.
