Galaxy S27 revealed with new code name, rumors about Pro version appear
(Dan Tri) - According to Android Authority, the Galaxy S27 product line is being developed with the internal codename "NM", short for "New Miracle" or "Next Miracle".
Based on leaked information from the supply chain and internal code, Samsung is said to be developing the Galaxy S27 series with the code name "NM".
Variants from NM1 to NM4 show the occurrence of different versions. In particular, NM4 is most likely the Galaxy S27 Ultra version, while NM3 is mentioned as a new Galaxy S27 Pro model.

A report by ETNews says that the Galaxy S27 Pro will be equipped with a 6.47-inch OLED screen. This size is larger than the standard Galaxy S27 version and smaller than the Galaxy S27+.
Last year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge model as the fourth version of the Galaxy S product line. The product has a thin and light design and is aimed at a group of users who love fashion.
However, this device did not achieve sales as expected. Some rumors even confirm that the company has stopped planning to develop the Galaxy S26 Edge generation. Therefore, the Galaxy S27 Pro may approach users in a different direction.
Some information says the Galaxy S27 Pro will share most of the same specifications as the Ultra version. However, this model will not support connection to the S Pen. This difference not only helps the company decentralize equipment in the product range, but also helps optimize production costs.
A source from GSMArena said that the main camera on the Galaxy S27 Ultra will be equipped with a sensor with 200MP resolution. This camera has the ability to change aperture, thereby improving photography performance in both strong and low light conditions.

One of the most important upgrades on this product line lies in battery technology. Samsung is said to be testing silicon-carbon batteries for the Galaxy S27 series. This type of battery allows increasing capacity without changing the physical size of the battery.
However, the report says the battery capacity may only increase by about 10%, helping the Galaxy S27 Ultra reach 5,500mAh. Due to cost issues, the new battery technology may only be equipped for models from the Galaxy S27 Pro version and above. Meanwhile, the standard version still uses old battery technology.
