The folding design allows it to be used as a specialized handheld camcorder. Samsung has equipped it with a horizon lock feature that keeps the image straight in the frame like on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, so recording videos with the Z Flip8 during strong movements such as running or jumping still gives a stable image.
