Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8 revealed before launch date

(Dan Tri) - According to many leaked sources, the new generation of folding screen phones from Samsung will have 3 versions, including Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8.
The common highlight on this product line lies in the Flex Titanium hinge structure. The new technology is expected to help reduce wrinkles on the screen, which was a drawback on previous generations of Galaxy Z.

In particular, the Galaxy Z Fold8 version is expected to bring a new design experience with a wider, thinner and lighter design. According to PhoneArena, the device weighs 201g and is 4.5mm thin when opened.
In terms of specifications, this product has a 7.6-inch main screen with a 4:3 ratio and a 5.5-inch secondary screen. Both screens use Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels, supporting 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected that the device will integrate the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal memory.
The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS stabilization, a 50MP super wide-angle camera and two 10MP selfie cameras on each screen. The device will integrate a 4,800mAh battery that supports fast charging with a capacity of 45W.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra serves as the most advanced version in the 2026 folding product range. The device has an 8-inch main screen with a 3:2 ratio and a 6.5-inch external secondary screen.
Compared to the standard version, the biggest difference of the Ultra model lies in the rear camera cluster with a 200MP main sensor, combined with a 10MP telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The device's battery has been upgraded to a capacity of 5,000mAh, but still ensures a thinness of 4.1mm and a weight of 218g.

In contrast to the upgrades on the Galaxy Z Fold8 duo, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is almost no different from its predecessor. The device is equipped with Exynos 2600 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor depending on the market. Other parameters such as 6.9 inch main screen, 4.1 inch secondary screen, 50MP main camera and 4,300mAh battery are expected to remain unchanged.
Worth mentioning, the product price may increase compared to its predecessor due to the global scarcity of memory chips. It is expected that the price of Galaxy Z Flip8 will increase by at least 100-150 USD, while the Z Fold8 versions will increase in price even higher. As planned, this product line will be announced by Samsung at the Galaxy Unpacked event taking place on July 22.
