Galaxy Z Fold8 has a price reduction of millions even though it is not yet on shelves in Vietnam

In the Vietnamese market, the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra duo have listed prices from 47 million VND and 53 million VND respectively for the 256GB version. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip8 model is priced at 32 million VND.

However, in reality, Vietnamese consumers can easily buy these devices at a price several million VND cheaper than the listed price.
According to a survey by Dan Tri reporter at many dealers, users who order the Galaxy Z8 Series will receive a voucher worth 2 million VND applicable to all versions. Besides, agents also give an additional discount of 2 million VND for each product. In total, users will be deducted 4 million VND when pre-ordering the device.
After applying the promotion program, the selling price of the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra duo decreased to 43 million VND and 49 million VND respectively for the 256GB internal memory version. Galaxy Z Flip8 is also reduced by 4 million VND, down to a price of 28 million VND.
Not only that, agents also launch many other promotions when users pay in installments via banks or participate in the renewal program. Depending on the incentive policy at each dealer, the discount level may vary.
Preliminary statistics from some retail systems show that the two versions Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra received the most attention from Vietnamese users at the time of launch.
"Galaxy Z Fold8 is the version that customers are most interested in, accounting for about 55% of total pre-registrations, followed by Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8. Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is an upgraded version of Galaxy Z Fold7. The product has a traditional butterfly folding design with a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8-inch internal screen.
While the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8 duo retain the design of their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold8 version is a completely new product, possessing a square screen design with a 4:3 ratio. When expanded, the Galaxy Z Fold8 turns into a tablet with a 7.6-inch screen.
