Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra real-life video leaked, showing special features
(Dan Tri) - Samsung is expected to launch a new generation of folding screen smartphones next week. However, before the product launch, a video showing the overall design of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra has just been leaked.
Samsung will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22 to introduce a series of new generation folding screen smartphones, including Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8. Besides, the company also plans to launch a pair of smart watches Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra2.
Among these products, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra attracts a lot of attention as it is said to be Samsung's most high-end model, and will compete with the first folding screen iPhone model rumored to be developed by Apple.

Just a few days before the launch, the Momentary Digital account on Weibo posted a video that is said to record actual images of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
The video shows that the device still uses the familiar book-like folding design. However, the notable point is that the screen has almost no creases at the hinge position.
In the video, Momentary Digital plays the content in full screen mode and it is difficult to see the crease on the screen.
If the video accurately reflects the commercial product, Samsung may have significantly improved the folding situation - one of the common limitations on folding screen smartphones today.
However, it is still unclear how many times the device appearing in the video has been folded and opened. There is also no basis to evaluate whether folds will appear more clearly after long-term use.
According to leaked information, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will have a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8-inch main screen when opened. This is also said to be Samsung's first folding screen smartphone to support the S Pen.
The device is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip customized by Qualcomm for Samsung, with 12GB or 16GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB internal memory options.

The rear camera cluster includes a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom. The device is said to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging.
Experts also say that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra can be sold at a starting price of 2,099 USD in the US, 100 USD higher than the Galaxy Z Fold7.
