iPhone 15 prices continue to increase in Vietnam
(Dan Tri) - According to a survey at many Apple authorized dealers in Vietnam (AAR), iPhone 15 is being offered for sale at 18.5 million VND for the 128GB version. This price has increased by 1 million VND compared to last month.
“Not only iPhone 15, many other Apple phone lines such as iPhone 13, iPhone 14 and iPhone 16 have also increased their prices by about 2-3 million VND.
Meanwhile, although the prices of models in the iPhone 17 product line have not increased, there are no longer strong discounts like before," said Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, communications representative of CellphoneS system.

Mr. Huy added that the above developments partly come from pressure on component costs. In particular, the price of memory chips has increased continuously and has affected many technology product groups including phones and laptops.
Over the past year or so, iPhone 15 has undergone many price adjustments. There was a period when the selling price of the product dropped to less than 15 million VND. However, this model has continuously increased in price since Apple changed its sales policy. Product sales have also slowed down compared to before.
"In fact, the price of iPhone 15 has tended to increase since the beginning of the second quarter. Device sales have decreased slightly. However, the main reason comes from the limited supply in the market, instead of the direct impact from price adjustments," Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple product manager at Mobile Vietnam, shared.
iPhone 15 was introduced by Apple in September 2023. After announcing the iPhone 17 generation in September 2025, the company quietly discontinued a series of older products, including the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus duo.
Apple has also removed this product from its online store in Vietnam and many regions. However, iPhone 15 is still sold at the company's officially authorized dealers.
"In terms of supply, the amount of iPhone 15 products in stock is still relatively diverse, able to meet many color and capacity options for users. At the present time, we have not recorded the pressure of shortage of goods," said Minh Tuan Mobile representative.

In the same price segment, the iPhone 15 currently competes with its own "homegrown chicken", the iPhone 17e model. iPhone 15 stands out more thanks to its youthful design, Dynamic Island screen and dual camera cluster. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17e has a powerful A19 chip, supports the Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence toolkit and has better battery life.
However, statistics from dealers show that the majority of users tend to choose to buy iPhone 15. A representative of CellphoneS said that iPhone 15 sales at this system are about 3 times higher than iPhone 17e.
"Camera is still one of the important factors that users prioritize when choosing a smartphone. iPhone 15 has a certain advantage in the camera system compared to iPhone 17e, thereby helping to maintain better purchasing power," Mr. Lac Huy explained.
