iPhone 16 price decreased slightly

After a period of continuous price increases, the iPhone 16 product line has been slightly adjusted by dealers. Specifically, iPhone 16 is being offered for sale at a price of 20.4 million VND for the 128GB version, 600,000 VND lower than last month.

"In Vietnam, iPhone 16 still maintains stable consumption but no longer holds the leading position. Sales of this product line are currently behind iPhone 17 and iPhone 15, showing the trend of users prioritizing newer generations or lines with more accessible prices," Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thanh, deputy director of Apple products at the FPT Shop system, shared.

According to a report from Counterpoint Research, iPhone 16 is the best-selling smartphone model globally in 2025. This model continues to show global appeal when ranked 6th in the list of best-selling smartphones in the world in the first quarter.

However, this product did not create much attraction in the Vietnamese market, especially after experiencing many price increases. Even the current price of iPhone 16 is close to the product's selling price at the time of launch 2 years ago.

iPhone 16 stands out with its compact design, strong performance and stable camera experience. However, the product still has some limitations such as 60Hz screen, average battery life and lack of telephoto lens.

In the current near-high-end price segment, iPhone 16 faces fierce competition from a series of new generation Android competitors such as Samsung Galaxy S26, OPPO Find X9s, vivo X300 or Xiaomi 17.

"iPhone 16 still maintains its competitive advantage thanks to its synchronized ecosystem, stable performance and long-term use value. These are factors that help the product continue to maintain its appeal against Android competitors in the same segment. The price reduction is expected to help boost product sales," said a representative of Mobile America.
