The price of iPhone 17 Pro Max continues to decrease in the last days of its life cycle
(Dan Tri) - Entering the final stage of its life cycle, iPhone 17 Pro Max is continuously adjusting its selling price by dealers. Specifically, the 256GB version is currently priced at 34.5 million VND, a decrease of 500,000 VND compared to before.
Talking to Dan Tri reporters, representatives of many Apple authorized retail systems (AAR) in Vietnam said that recent price adjustments mainly come from Apple's pricing policy.

"This is considered one of the deepest price adjustments of the iPhone 17 Pro Max in the product cycle. The fact that the iPhone 17 Pro Max had many deep price adjustments during this period also contributed to boosting sales," said Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Apple product manager at Mobile Vietnam.
In addition to the general promotional program from the company, each dealer deploys additional incentives to increase purchasing power. Therefore, the product price may vary by several hundred thousand VND depending on the promotion program at each system.
iPhone 17 Pro Max is still considered one of the iPhone models that has been able to keep its price stable since it went on sale. After nearly a year of opening for sale, the product's price is only about 9% lower than the first days it arrived in Vietnam.
During the same period, iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB version dropped to about 29 million VND during the off-peak period, equivalent to a decrease of about 15% compared to the listed price. This shows that the iPhone 17 Pro Max is able to keep its price significantly better than its predecessor.
"Compared to its predecessor, the purchasing power of iPhone 17 Pro Max still recorded growth. This is a positive result in the context of the product not having a strong price decrease for most of its life cycle.
Demand for Apple's high-end versions remains stable and the group of customers willing to pay for the Pro Max line continues to be an important driving force of the iPhone industry," said representative Minh Tuan Mobile.

Also according to dealers, iPhone 17 Pro Max is still the best-selling device in the entire iPhone product line launched in 2025. This is also the model that contributes largely to the revenue of the entire iPhone industry.
"As of August, iPhone 17 Pro Max accounted for more than 50% of total iPhone sales in the system. The sales of iPhone 17 Pro Max remained stable, with a growth rate of 40-50% compared to iPhone 16 Pro Max in the same period," said Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, communications representative of CellphoneS system.
The shopping trends of Vietnamese consumers are still similar to previous years. The standard versions with 256GB and 512GB memory capacities are chosen by many thanks to their accessible prices for the majority of common users.
