iPhone Air price dropped to its lowest level since its launch in Vietnam

At some Apple authorized dealers, iPhone Air is currently offered for sale at a price of 22.8 million VND for the 256GB version. Some smaller stores even adjusted the selling price of the product to 22 million VND.

This is also the lowest price of iPhone Air since it launched in the Vietnamese market.

Talking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Nhu Thanh, Deputy Director of Apple products at FPT Shop, said that iPhone Air sales have grown by about 20% after many consecutive price reductions.

Currently, the price of iPhone Air is even cheaper than the standard iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 17. Worth mentioning, the above two models are inherently positioned in a lower segment than the iPhone Air.

iPhone 17 is being offered by dealers at a price of 24 million VND for the 256GB version. Meanwhile, iPhone 16 Plus 128GB version costs 24 million VND. However, statistics from dealers show that both iPhone 17 and iPhone 16 Plus recorded better sales than the iPhone Air.

"Sales of iPhone Air have grown significantly after the price reduction period. However, iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 17 still maintain stable purchasing power and receive more attention," a representative of Mobile America shared.

iPhone Air is considered a big bet that Apple has made in the past year. This product line has a completely new design and is completely different from the devices the company has developed for nearly a decade.

However, reality shows that iPhone Air is not well received by many users. iPhone Air is also by far the deepest discount model among the entire iPhone product range launched in 2025.

"Even though the iPhone Air has a price advantage, a large number of users still prioritize the iPhone 17 thanks to the "safety" factor when choosing. On the contrary, the iPhone Air will appeal to a group of young, individual customers, especially those who appreciate the thin, light and unique design," said representative of Minh Tuan Mobile.
