Prices of older iPhone models have simultaneously increased in Vietnam
(Dan Tri) - After announcing the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max generations in early September, Apple increased the prices of a series of older iPhone models.
At the time Apple announced it, the price had not changed much at dealers. Up to now, many retail systems have begun to adjust, causing iPhone prices in Vietnam to increase.

Specifically, iPhone 15 increased by 2 million VND, to 20 million VND for the 128GB version. Dealers also increased the price of iPhone 17e by 2 million VND, to 20 million VND for the 256GB version. Many other models such as iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 17 also increased in price.
"The purchasing power of iPhone 16, iPhone 17 and iPhone 17e has been slower than the period before the price adjustment. Customers tend to compare more carefully before paying," said Minh Tuan Mobile representative.
Sharing the same opinion, Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy, communications representative of CellphoneS system, said that purchasing power of iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 has decreased by about 30% after the price increase period. However, this development will likely only happen in the short term and the market will gradually adapt.
In contrast to the above models, iPhone Air prices are almost unchanged at dealers. iPhone Air is still sold by retail systems at a price of 23 million VND for the 256GB version. Worth mentioning, this price is 12 million VND lower than the price listed on Apple's official website.

"The fact that the selling price of iPhone Air at dealers has not been adjusted to Apple's new price comes from the amount of inventory imported before the price adjustment. Besides, there is currently no new stock arriving at the new price level, so dealers do not need to immediately adjust the selling price.
In the near future, iPhone Air prices may change when new supplies are added. The specific adjustment level will depend on the import price and the supply situation in the market," Ms. Van Thi Ngoc Yen, Director of Apple products at Di Dong Viet, shared.
