On June 26, Hanoi People's Committee and CMC Technology Group signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2026-2030 on digital transformation, AI, digital infrastructure and innovation.

This is part of the cooperation strategy between Hanoi and domestic technology enterprises to promote the development of science - technology, innovation and digital economy.

According to the Hanoi People's Committee, along with CMC, the City also cooperates with Viettel, MobiFone, VNPT and FPT to mobilize social resources for digital transformation in the period 2026-2030. The parties will coordinate to support people, business households and small and medium-sized enterprises in accessing digital platforms and new technologies.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Executive Chairman of CMC Technology Group, businesses want to participate more deeply in the process of modernizing the government and developing Hanoi's digital economy.

According to the agreement, the two sides will research and build a digital technology park integrating data centers, cloud computing, AI, R&D centers, innovation spaces, research institutes, universities and digital human resources training facilities.

In addition, Hanoi and CMC also research and develop educational and research complexes in the fields of AI, semiconductors and digital technology.

A notable content is the research and implementation of the AI ​​Camera system and AI Video Analytics platform to serve security and order, traffic and urban management and government administration.

According to CMC, Camera AI Make in Vietnam solution aims to ensure data sovereignty, information security and technology mastery. The model is expected to be piloted in 5-10 communes and wards before expanding.

The enterprise also plans to deploy public administration virtual assistants using generative AI and AI Agent to support people in using online public services 24/7, and at the same time support officials in looking up documents, business processes and exploiting data for work.

The digital government model on the C-Gov platform is expected to be piloted in 3-5 communes and wards in 2026.
