Many Adobe users in Vietnam had their services canceled even though they had purchased the copyright
(Dan Tri) - In the past week or so, many Adobe users in Vietnam have had their services canceled for unknown reasons. Worth mentioning, the canceled accounts were all genuine registered users.
Accordingly, many users said they suddenly received an email notifying them of service cancellation from Adobe for the reason "fraudulent activity detected on the account".

"We are contacting you to inform you that our fraud prevention experts have detected fraud related to your Creative Cloud Pro subscription. As a result, your subscription has been canceled and you will no longer be able to access the included Adobe apps and services," reads Adobe's notice to canceled accounts.
As soon as they receive the above notification, users will completely lose access to accompanying applications and Adobe's storage services. Many account holders expressed frustration with Adobe's move, and confirmed that they had paid in full via bank card and the software package was still within its validity period.
The review is performed via internal software Adobe Genuine Service (AGS) running in the background on the device. The service connects to the company's server when there is Internet access, has the ability to check current usage licenses and analyze device history and IP addresses.
Worth mentioning, AGS can even identify devices that have installed pirated software. Many people believe that this may be the reason why a series of accounts had their services canceled during the recent raid from Adobe.
According to feedback from groups on Facebook, there are 3 main user groups being affected. The group with the highest percentage is those who have used jailbreak tools for many years. Even if you have purchased copyrighted software, the AGS system can still scan out the old configuration file and lock the newly purchased genuine account.
The second group are accounts that previously bought through cheap intermediaries because they wanted to save costs. In addition, some people suspect that Adobe may have mistakenly scanned their accounts.

In fact, Adobe's mis-scanning phenomenon has also occurred in many countries such as Türkiye, Poland and Indonesia. Adobe representatives have admitted that the automatic scanning algorithm sometimes causes errors and confusion for accounts using discount codes that are not from an authorized dealer.
For accounts whose services have been canceled, users can go directly to Adobe's homepage and complain to support.
However, it should be noted that Adobe currently does not have a direct customer support department in Vietnam. Therefore, users will need to communicate with the online support channel in English.
Some users said that after contacting support staff from Adobe, customers were asked to wait about 3-5 days for the system to process. However, Adobe refused to give the reason for canceling the account, citing reasons related to the company's privacy policy.
