Hollyland has just released the Pyro Ultra: 4K60 image transmitter without screen limitation

Those of you who often go to film shoots, do events or operate crowded filming sets, surely understand the situation of cumbersome cables or lack of monitor screens for directors, customers and focus technicians. The other day I just went to an event to see Hollyland launch the Pyro Ultra wireless video transmission system. At first glance, I see that this set of equipment solves many practical problems in the workflow of video makers today.
Connect unlimited 4K60 image receivers and transmitters
The point that attracts my most attention on Pyro Ultra is the ability to connect a transmitter to an unlimited number of receivers when Broadcast Mode is enabled. In normal standard mode, the system supports up to 6 monitoring screens including 4 receivers and 2 mobile devices, operating most stably among about 20 receivers.

This is a demo so it's only 1080P
Low latency from 20ms and the ability to transmit up to 1.5km
For those in charge of drawing focus, signal delay is an extremely important factor. Pyro Ultra is equipped with Focus Mode that reduces latency to only 20ms at 1080p25/30 resolution, 40ms at 1080p60 and 45ms at 4K60.

The system uses exclusive TWiFi technology that combines the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, combines automatic frequency hopping mechanism and supports DFS frequency band. Thanks to that, the device reaches a maximum transmission distance of 1.5 km in normal mode and 700 meters in Broadcast mode, minimizing interference in environments with many wireless devices.

Keep frames uninterrupted and support flexible livestream
A small detail that I find very useful is the Freeze Frame feature. When the transmission line is accidentally interrupted, the receiver will automatically retain the last frame or display a custom studio logo image instead of leaving the screen black, helping the work not be interrupted in front of the customer's eyes.

The transmitter has a built-in 4K60 HDMI loop-out port and an SDI port that fully supports frame standards. In addition, the device supports output via UVC up to 4K60 and RTMP up to 1080p60 to plug into a computer to livestream directly, with the ability to automatically adjust the output resolution to suit each display screen.

Regarding synchronization capabilities, Pyro Ultra connects smoothly with other devices in Hollyland's ecosystem such as the Pyro H, Pyro S, Pyro 5, Pyro 7 and Vcore series.

Summary of main highlights

Personally, I find this to be a very comprehensive wireless video transmission solution for filming crews who want to free up cables and expand flexible monitoring capabilities on set. Brothers in the industry, how do you feel about this new set of equipment? Please comment...
