IFA26: Go see Dyson's new air purifiers at IFA 2026: Looks a bit strange but the wind blows better
At Dyson's side event within the framework of IFA 2026, I just had the opportunity to directly experience the company's new air purifier and fan product range. Looking from a distance, this system really startled me a bit because the design of the cigarette-shaped wind throat looks quite strange, even a bit like some fictional creatures in movies. But when I stood in front of the device and tried it on, the feeling of the wind blowing out made me feel immediately comfortable, clearly different from the previous generations I had used.
The unique wind throat design feels like a cigarette and the wind blows stronger than before
Previously, I used Dyson's air purifier and fan, the Big and Quiet series, but to be honest, its airflow was not too strong. At that time, the device mainly played the role of air filter, while the cooling function was only intermittent. This time with the new air vent design, the new Dyson HushJet Cool Pure + has solved the 2-in-1 problem very well. When standing opposite, I felt the air blowing out very strongly and decisively, and could be used as an independent cooling fan in the room instead of having to turn on another traditional fan.
The company offers many different sizes for this product line. The largest version looks quite bulky from the outside, so placing it in a small space can take up a bit of space, but the medium and smaller sized versions fit very well. Rounded lines and cigarette-shaped air vents look attractive and have Dyson's signature mechanical character. Last year in Tinhte, Tu also tried the HushJet model, and this year the company expanded its product system from tiny handhelds to these large machines.
Fast dust filtration performance and impressive technical specifications
In the experience area, Dyson has set up a glass chamber filled with smoke to test the actual filtering ability. When you turn the machine on, it only takes a very short period of time for all the dense smoke in the glass cabinet to be sucked out and cleared again. In terms of parameters, this large machine can filter up to 99.99% of dust particles in the air, while providing an air flow of up to 1,200 m³ per hour and cleaning about 330 liters of air per second.
In particular, the airflow from the machine can blow up to 20 meters away, helping clean and cool air circulate evenly throughout the large room. Regarding the filter system, inside the machine is still fully integrated with HEPA filter, activated carbon membrane to deodorize, combined with UV light to disinfect. Users can also connect the device to the phone application to monitor air quality and customize operating modes remotely.
Both a fan and an air purifier
This product range has two notable versions: the large HushJet Big and Quiet Cool Pure and the medium HushJet Cool and Pure+. I often have the habit of sitting and working in an air-conditioned room, wanting to have a fan blowing air to keep the air fresh, both comfortable and not stuffy. Integrating a standard air filter right into a powerful fan like this makes the corner of the room much neater, without having to plug in two bulky machines at the same time.
