IFA26: Visit the Uniq booth: Leather goods are still comfortable to hold, ready-made cases for folding iPhones
Walking around the accessories area at the IFA 2026 exhibition, I stopped by Uniq's booth because this is a technology toy brand from Singapore that is very familiar to Apple users in Vietnam.
Not choosing to show off their muscles or compete for dry technical specifications like many other accessory brands, Uniq has always been steadfast with its minimalist style, focusing on fashion and practical handling experience. This time in Berlin, they brought a very thoughtful display space, from unique color combinations with Pantone to a series of accessories made specifically to anticipate the upcoming folding screen iPhone.
Pantone color collection and soft leather goods for the Apple ecosystem
Right at the entrance to the booth, the first thing that caught my eye was the display area of color-coordinated accessories according to Pantone's standard color palette. The combination of Uniq and Pantone creates very elegant and fashionable tones, appearing synchronously on iPhone cases, Apple Watch straps and small accessories. In reality, these colors are moderately deep, not flashy or cheesy, very suitable for those who like elegant everyday dressing styles.
Going deeper inside, I encountered the familiar leather items that made the company famous. There are everything from exquisitely finished Apple Watch straps, protective covers for AirPods headphone boxes, MagSafe card wallets to even leather passport cases for people on the go.
An office accessory that I find quite clever is a shockproof bag for MacBooks. The folding lid is designed with grooves so that when opened, it can turn into a stand to tilt the device up at a diagonal angle. This design not only helps the screen viewing angle reduce neck fatigue, but also raises the bottom of the device for better heat dissipation when sitting and working in a coffee shop.
In particular, the item that I still like the most at Uniq are the leather-covered MagSafe backup batteries. Most rechargeable battery brands today prefer aluminum or hard plastic shells, but I personally prefer Uniq's vegetable leather finish. When you hold tightly to the back of the phone, this soft leather layer gives you a very comfortable, comfortable grip and most importantly, you don't have to worry about scratching the glass or metal rim of the phone.

The area that surprised me and lingered to observe the longest was the accessory display table for the upcoming folding screen iPhone, with the message Unfold into 18 attached. Although Apple has not yet officially unveiled the product, Uniq has confidently completed a massive accessory ecosystem, showing their early preparation.
The case I like the most in this area is the half-back model made of vegetable leather. Instead of covering both the front and back, making the already thick folding body even more cumbersome, Uniq made a case that covers the entire back with a very neatly concealed stand.
Besides, they also offer many other case variations for this folding machine. Those who like to show off the original color of their device have the transparent plastic version, those who are afraid of sweat and fingerprints have the smooth matte version. More unique is the version finished with twill Kevlar weave for a strong sporty style, and the flip-up leather cover model covers the entire external screen like a small notebook, with a convenient built-in kickstand to prop up the device to watch movies or make video calls.
The most special thing to mention is the MagSafe backup battery created in a square shape by Uniq. Instead of keeping the traditional elongated rectangular ratio of a regular bar phone battery, this battery is shortened to follow the square ratio of the folding half of the iPhone's body. When attached to the back, the battery fits just below the camera cluster without any extra edges or crooked handles, proving that the company has calculated the ergonomic size very carefully.

At the remaining accessory counters, Uniq continues to renew protective case lines for new generation iPhones such as iPhone 17 and 18. All case models have a built-in strong MagSafe magnet ring, have a raised edge design to protect the lens assembly and are meticulously finished in the cutouts of ports and buttons.
Walking around the Uniq booth at IFA 2026, I saw that they don't chase things that are too flashy or try to cram complicated technology into accessories. Uniq's strength is still understanding the user's holding habits, knowing how to coordinate fashionable colors and handling luxurious vegetable leather material. The fact that they proactively embraced a whole range of accessories from back covers to square rechargeable batteries for folding machines shows a commendable acumen.
