IFA26: Anker MagGo 2 Pro in hand: Wireless charging battery with cooling fan
I have an Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro backup battery in hand right at IFA 2026. I personally use magnetic wireless charging quite a lot, it's very convenient, but the thing that bothers me the most is still the temperature. Every time you charge it, the device will noticeably warm up, exceeding the mark of 38 to 40 degrees Celsius, causing the device to reduce its charging speed or cause the battery to quickly wear out. This new battery from Anker was born to solve exactly that bottleneck.
SnapCool cooling system with fan and 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging
To solve the problem of overheating, Anker equips the MagGo 2 Pro with the SnapCool active cooling system that combines a mini fan, convection air vents and a three-layer graphene layer. Thanks to the continuous airflow that cools both the battery cell and the phone contact surface, the surface temperature is kept below 36 degrees Celsius.
Flexible folding stand and smart screen displays temperature
Besides the ability to dissipate heat, the detail I find very practical is the folding stand on the back with adjustable opening angle from 0 to 80 degrees. When sitting at work, you just need to open the kickstand and place the battery on the table, the phone can both charge and act as a secondary screen.
We can place the device vertically to view notifications or rotate it horizontally to activate the iPhone's StandBy mode as a desk clock. The side of the battery has a digital screen that displays detailed battery percentage, charging capacity, operating temperature and remaining charging time, helping users easily monitor actual parameters.
45W wired power, smooth finish and realistic feel
Regarding wired charging, MagGo 2 Pro's USB-C port supports 45W of power for both charging and discharging, enough to charge even the MacBook Air. With a 45W charger, the battery can recharge from 0 to 80% in about 52 minutes. Capacity of 10,000 mAh equivalent to 39.2Wh, comfortable to carry on the plane.
Even though it has a built-in fan, the weight of the device is only about 220g, lighter than the previous model and the edges are softly curved. The magnetic base is covered with something very soft and smooth, very cool to the touch and prevents scratches on the back of the device. The device has three color options including gray, silver and dark blue.
Anker announced the selling price in the US is about 110 USD, open for sale from mid-September. This price is not cheap for a 10,000 mAh battery, but if you often use wireless charging and put coolness and battery durability as top priority, this is a very worthwhile upgrade.
