IFA26: Dyson CameraJet in hand: Toothbrush and water flosser with camera

From Dyson's Unveil event on the sidelines of the IFA 2026 exhibition in Berlin, I was quite surprised to see the company entering the oral care segment with the CameraJet electric toothbrush. Normally, when mentioning Dyson, people often think of vacuum cleaners or hair dryers, so when they introduced a compact personal item with two color options like ceramic blue and ceramic pink, I found it both strange and curious about its practicality.

The mechanism of combining a toothbrush and a water flosser solves daily habits

I myself am a pretty good oral hygiene person, every day I have to brush my teeth first and then take out the water flosser to use. No matter how good a toothbrush is, it can only clean the outer surface, and leftover food stuck between teeth requires a water flosser. Having to do two separate steps takes up a lot of time every morning and evening. This CameraJet directly solves that inconvenience by integrating a water spray located right under the brush head, helping to brush and spray between teeth at the same time.

There is a 12ml mouthwash tank available on the machine body. The company designed an additional self-expanding air bag inside to eliminate air bubbles, so the water pressure sprays out very evenly whether you hold the brush sideways or upside down.

Included with the device is a multi-function charging dock that can automatically fill this water tank in just a few seconds. The device can still be used with regular toothpaste and mouthwash, but Dyson has made its own non-foaming cream and low-foam mouthwash so that the camera is not obscured from view.

100,000 pixel AI camera helps spray water accurately and avoid gum damage

The point I find most interesting is the AI ​​camera cluster. When you remove the brush head, you will see a 100,000 pixel resolution camera cluster attached to a small LED light on the body, combined with an optical lens located on the brush head. All images are processed directly on the device to ensure privacy, and can be transmitted directly to the phone screen so that you can see your teeth clearly in real time without having to go to the dentist.

The brush head vibrates flexibly and the chip monitors wear

The brush head is also quite carefully calculated by combining soft bristles on the outer edge to protect gums and hard bristles on the inside to dislodge plaque. When operating, the brush head vibrates nearly 1,000 pulses per second and automatically changes the tilt angle for better cleaning. Each brush head also has an NFC chip attached to record the level of wear and tear and automatically remind you to replace the brush head every 3 months.
