What's new in iOS 27 Beta 5?

There is more than a month left until iOS 27 is officially launched. Apple has just continued to release Beta 5 with many small changes but makes the experience of using the device much better. My first impression is that the Liquid Glass icon interface on familiar apps such as Safari, Siri, Settings or App Store has been redone in more detail and clarity. Voice options for Siri AI have also been expanded in terms of speed and emotion. Because this feature is processed directly on the device (on-device), it is only supported from the iPhone 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max and iPhone Air models.

Apple has taken great care of the small details in daily use this time. The Contacts directory now displays the company name right below the caller's name in the search list, saving you the trouble of clicking on the view card. The Search section shows suggestions more smoothly, has a web search button at the bottom and allows you to actively choose to hide or show 4 or 8 applications.

One point I find very practical is that the Battery Settings section will clearly indicate if weak signal is the cause of battery drain, making it easier for you to catch device problems. In addition, the Create a Pass feature in Wallet is available in many countries other than the US, Control Center automatically hides mobile signal bars when connected to Wi-Fi, and Mail has added a switch to turn on personalized Smart Replies.

Overall, this Beta 5 mainly improves the features to make them smoother. Those of you who are currently on beta, please update to experience it!
