iOS 27 reveals information about folding screen iPhones

To optimize the experience on the folding screen, Apple also introduced new software features in iOS 27 such as customizing the size of super large widgets (widgets) for the home screen and the ability to resize iPhone applications when mirrored to a Mac computer.

Another important feature for developers is "App Adaptability". This feature encourages developers to build interfaces that can switch between different screen sizes and ratios. These changes are specifically designed to serve a device with a flexible display area and can change shape like the iPhone Fold.

This is the first time the iOS operating system directly mentioned the existence of a folding screen iPhone. The appearance of official support code in the operating system shows that the time for Apple to enter the folding phone market may be very close.

Previously leaked information said that the folding iPhone will have a screen of about 7.8 inches when opened. This size is equivalent to the screen on the iPad mini model. The selfie camera will be placed in the upper left corner of the screen.
